Official PC/Console RPG thread

Ill be the first to start a thread that zones in on the genre of Role Playing games. Here you can post new and upcoming rpg games that are for the pc or any other console. Or if you just discovered a game that was made what seems like thousands of years ago but is awesome as hell, write about that here too.

Ill start off with a thread to: Fable. This game used to be called Project Ego, but was changed recently into Fable. I found out about this game from GameInsider magazine, and it looks pretty cool. The graphics look a little behind the weather in the magazine, but at xbox.com, i found some other graphics that blew me away:

hold the mouse over the pictures once youve clicked on them and at the bottem right of the picture, there will be an orange button, press it to get the full view of the picture.

The game is entirely real time, and, like Morrowind, everything you do determines the outcome of your personality, and people's reaction towards you. You start out as a boy, and you then live out a full life, i think, and progress towards a man, and become a hero! You can get scars and all sorts of war prizes, and they last for life if not treated...

I used to work for a game site, and I done a lot of research on Project Ego. This has been about a year ago, too, so I don't remember too much, except that it was insanely detailed and gigantic.

 

Do you know when they started to make it? The graphics are pretty good for a game that started about 3 years ago

 

This game looks awsome! It was one of the reasons that I bought my Xbox in the first place. I can see myself loseing myself to the amazing scope of the gameplay that has promised. I just hope that the develelopers will deliver what they promise.

 

Can anyone else give any more information on the details of this game?
