Estaba leyendo por ahi, y al parecer P. Jackson y New Line no piensan espetarnos con un super mega deluxe set de LOTR una vez salgan las tres peliculas. Parece que los EE van a ser todo.

At the DVD in 50 Conference we learned that Peter Jackson has held back some exceptional stuff from the first two Extended Edition DVDs which is slated for inclusion in the final Return of The King Extended Edition. This was done in an effort not to spoil the third film for movie goers before it was released. One scene which was at one point part of The Two Towers Extended Edition (a flash back to the creation of Gollum) has been actually pulled from the Extended Edition DVD to be used in actual upcoming theatrical release for The Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King. One very encouraging note for Lord of the Rings fans who have bought or are planning to buy the Extended Editions - New Line has stated that they are not going to punish loyal fans who buy their Extended Editions buy putting out some sort of other 'Super-Ultimate' Edition or Collection after the third film is out. So your investment in the Extended Editions is safe."

Anyway, me alegra saber que los EE es lo que hay, yo soy de los que me molesto bien brutal cuando hacen los "Ultimate Collector's Special Editions".

 

Hoy esta disponible para la venta Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising para el Gameboy Advance. Es un juego de estrategia por turnos y puedes jugar con otros 3 jugadores interconectando las unidades. Se que Juan es adicto a este juego, pero quien mas se lo piensa comprar? Para un review del juego, pasen por IGN Pocket.

Probé el demo del DVD (?3D-CGI Interactive Movie?) de ?Dangeons & Dragons: Scourge of Worlds? y lo que vi me gusto. En caso que no sepan que es, este te permite seleccionar, entre 2 opciones, que harán los protagonistas.

El CGI es muy bueno, pero el demo tiene muy poco de la historia para saber que tan buena es.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic came out yesterday. So far it's gotten pretty good reviews! What still doesn't convince me is the combat mechanism, where you basically just sit there and watch your characters fight. So I'd like to see the game in action. Anyone around here have a SuX, I mean, an X-box? I think I'm gonna wait until the game comes out for the PC.

Bueno es un RPG, hay otra manera de pelear en un RPG que no sea asi?


En verdad no se pq no estoy muy familiarizado con los RPG's de videojuegos.

 

Bueno Luis, eso depende del RPG. Si es un Action/RPG (como por ejemplo, Phantasy Star Online), tienes el completo control de tu personaje para moverte y atacar/disparar como tu quieras. Si es un RPG tradicional, escoges tus acciones de un menu y ves el resultado.

Nunca habia visto un juego en donde tienes control de moverte a donde quieras pero tu personaje ataca por su cuenta, con solo poca intervencion de tu parte (usar Force powers, healing kits, etc.). Suena interesante, pero no estoy 100% convencido. Quizas alquile un X-box y una copia de SW:KOTOR a ver...
