I definitely wanna hear Liam do a reading for AOTC!

 

Well, he is doing the voice in TCW, which is pure awesome.

 

Why are they doing this now? Are they going to re-write all of SW history with this show.

 

Judging by what Qui-Gon actually says in the clip, he is meerly a Force vision, similair to what Luke has on Dagobah and the Exile has on Korriban.

 

I still don't like it. Darth Maul's brother, and now this?

 

Technically it wan't Maul's brother, just someone who shared the same bloodline. If it is a Force vision that is supposed enlighten Obi-Wan to something then it should be alright. I'm not sure Liam would have lended his voice to something he feels destroys the character.

 

I hope there isn't too much of him.

I know the concern though that TCW is going to ruin something since they've done it before, but hopefully this isn't the case.

 

It's done already, there's no going back. I still love Qui-Gon though.

 

I don't think the appearance will ruin Qui-Gon at least. And hey, they got Liam to do the voice instead of some "sound alike" so that is cool.


Qui-Gon will always be awesome.

 

I never said it will ruin him, it works out for me because I choose to ignore TCW and TFU.

 

That's the beauty of Star Wars. You can pick and choose your canon.

For goodness sake, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Savage Oppress. He has absolutely nothing to do with Maul except for his species. And Qui-Gon's simply coming to Obi-Wan in a Force vision, something he did with Anakin during the old Clone Wars.

OMG! Fine, so now we have Obi-Wan who is super surpirsed when Yoda mentions Qui-Gon in RotS for nothing. Whe Yoda could have said "Why surprised are you. Talk with him before hadn't you?" and then Obi-Wan could have said, "Of course master you're right. I did speak with him in vision during the clone wars. I must have forgotten!" Oh brother. I don't like it. Also, I didn't know they got rid of the Darth Maul connection. I retract that previous statement.
