Promo cards for the group are DONE!

I created a design with tons of pics from ROTS on one side (kind of like I did for AOTC) and have the group's info on the other. Total made 440 (yep that's Four HUNDRED and forty).
Basically one for every cup holder in the theater.

The Posters are done as well, just need to mount them to foamcore. The theater will be providing easels for the posters to go on. Our presence will definitely be felt at Loews tomorrow night.

    Eat-N-Park (Waterfront)-$10 gift card
Media Play $10 Gift Certificate/Damon's Free Appetizer Cerificate (approx value $7)

If we find that we do not have more than 3 children in costume then I will add those gifts to the ?audience? prizes.
They will be portioned out like this (if the above happens):
(4 random winners 2 prizes each)

    ? Dick?s Sporting Good?s $5 gift certificate/Red Robin (Gourmet Burgers) $20 Gift card
? Star Wars game of ?Life?/Damons-$10 gift certificate
    ? Jedi Beach Towel-Bag /Eat-N-Park (Waterfront)-$10 gift card
? Darth Tater/Media Play $10 Gift Certificate//Damon's Free Appetizer Cerificate (approx value $7)

The average value of the 2 prizes/gift certificates would be rougly $20-25.

I have yet to hear from Damon?s or Eat-N-Park and have not heard from Zero about the Hot Topic Gift card, but I have other gift cards to replace those if neccessary. If not then those gift cards will be added to the audience prizes.

[EDIT]I have now heard from Eat-N-Park and Zero about the Hot Topic Gift card. We now have the confirmed $10 gift card from Eat-N-Park and the $20 one from Hot Topic that Zero was able to get. I'll be hitting up Damon's tonight for the final certificate.[End EDIT]
[Another Edit]Not only did I get Eat 'n Park's card, but the $50 worth of gift cards from Dave and Buster's. Also $30 in certificates to P.F.Chang's, and approx $60 worth of certificates from Damon's-see edited prize lists above.[End another edit]

Those gift cards are a late entry from Dave and Buster's. I really didn't think we'd hear back from them, but they are donating $50 in gift cards. Not sure if it will be 2 @ $25 or 5 @ $10. No matter what, they will be distributed fairly and evenly amoung the prizes as needed.

Total Charitable contributions to date $65

Good breakdown Sal... if we do end up with more stuff then we planed for and/or there is no child costume contest, then it should be quite easy to give away stuff VERY quickly if need be while still being fun for those in attendence.

One more thing. If there is a child costume contest will that host choice or audience choice? I am thinking host choice just so I don't have to hear "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" :)

I figured on audience participation for that one.

The more we involve the audience the better it reflects on us.

Awesome!!! I was just down at the Waterfront tonight getting the last of the gift certificates/cards. I told each business to be prpared for an onslaught of people. Especially Eat 'n Park. They (Eat 'n Park) asked me what should they expect. At that time I thought there was only 5 sold out shows. I told them with roughly over 400 people in each theater that's 2000. If they even get 5-10 percent of them, they will be slammed. Shoot knowing there are TWO more shows...

They said they were planning to have a special Star Wars buffet for people after the show. I hope they finalize those plans and get enough workers...

Look above in the prize list for a few updates.

(I got another $100-125 worth of stuff!!!)

It's too bad that I can't join yall at the Waterfront for tonight as I have several students of mine going to the midnight showings here in Center Township. But I'm still going in my new and totally revamped and improved Vader costume. Last little bits of it are going together today! If you want pictures, be sure to look in the Beaver County Times, I'm sure they'll be there and I've always gotten in the paper each premier. Plus I'll hopefully have people taking pics for me too. May the Force be with you all!

    MTFBWY too!

    13 HOURS!!!

I'm practically busting at the seams!!! I want to leave work because it's just too hard to sit here and watch the minutes slowly drag by. But then what would I do??? I'd be just as excited at home.

Gawd, I almost feel like going down to the movie theater now and camping out until tonight...

After all this time, it's finally HERE!!!

Don't forget to bring your badges folks!

If you don't have one, then wear a club shirt if you have one, if not then consider costuming tonight.

BTW, who plans on being in costume tonight???

Of course I'm doing my traditional Jedi and Em will be the Zabrak Senator she was for C3.

    Who else and what of?

I watched the movie tonight in theater 11 at Loews. Did anyone else there think they had the audio too low? Is there a particular theater at Loews that is the best?

    Great movie, of course. :D

    Greetings, blokes.

Zidious... We were in Theater 12, and the audio was low at first until people hollered to have them turn it up, and it seemed to work. :D

Everyone else... Stellar job at the premiere last night! Props go to Sal for getting the whole thing going, to Fluke and Zero for helping with charity stuff, and to everyone else for pitching in prizes and their help. I can't imagine the gig going any better with the amount of time we had to plan it. :)

Well done. Good show. Hats off.

We did good last night and we should be proud.

Tired to the point of collapse,
    Yours Truly

P.S. Sorry I had to duck out of there so fast after the show, but I had to get to bed so I could be here at work today. :(

I know what you mean. I got in around 3:30 AM and had to be up for work and there at 8...needless to say, the snooze got hit quite often this morning.

I wish I could have been at the Lowe's theater, but going to the Cinemark in Monaca was still fun. Saw a few pseudo Jedis there, one Darth Helmet (no kidding, he had vader's mask painted on a bucket with some odds and ends stuff for the rest of the costume) and one very good looking Rebel pilot.

And, of course, my Vader costume. Totally redone, worked really well and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Especially when I stood completely motionless with my breathing sound going and people came up to take a look and press my 'buttons' and I'd grab at their hand or something. Lots of pictures, I'll see if I can upload some.

we got home at 5, but didn't wake up until 8:45, and got to school arounf 10:00, I didn't get to sleep well though, cause my kitten decided i was a scratching post!
I have two friends that are out today, and I am going at like 7:30 in Cranberry, I wanted to go to South Side with my cousin, but she has too much work to do and she saw it at 12:05 at Showcase! I was proud of her, I hadn't thought I had rubbed off on her that much!

Dropped Allie and her friend (sorry, I can't remember her name!) off at 5am.

Got home at 6 am. To bed at 6:30, woke up at 10:30, sugar totally wacked out, neighbors shouting and swearing at each other, adjusted my insulin, put in my trusty earplugs, went back to sleep until 12:30.

It will take me several days to get my schedule straightened out, but I couldn't possibly have gone to work today after being up for 24 hours! I'm getting too old for this sort of thing.

It was a great time. Sal, Zero, Dan and everyone who helped - WE ROCK!

I'm only sorry that it's over...
