As for thug fighting... The only fighting the Thugs do is with blasters except for the lead thug. You might work for that, but in the ending he scuffles with my cousin's wife, who is tall, but I need to make sure she wouldn't be dwarfed by you. It has to look somewhat plausible.

Hey, wherever you would want to put me would be fine. You could maybe even make me something like a Wookiee thug...if you wanted to. Or something like that, you get the picture.

OOOhhh! Wookie Thug! I like it! You got a Wookie costume? Willing to make one?

I have no costuming skills that I am aware of. If we have somebody willing to help to make it, I'll fund it if it's not too expensive.

If not a wookiee, then I've always like the Rodian's. If it's something that has to be just make up, then it would have to be something like a Dr. Evazan or something like that.

Oh yeah, I have no costumes yet. When will we be filming?

Filming MIGHT be in August 2004. But I honestly believe that that is wishful thinking. I still have a LOT to do. If I get plenty of help (including financial) then we might make that goal.
Lots of the Denver gals do really great costumes. And Rodian masks are pretty easy to come by from what I've seen. A mask, gloves, and a simple costume and you're set. But you'd be the biggest Rodian ever! That might be funny!

    Ah-nold da' Rodian!
    ROTFL!

Last night stayed up late re-doing my food capsules that go on the Jedi belt. I had used some cheap highlighters that looked REALLY cool. But the plastic clips were too fragile and they broke off.

So, I got three boxes of pens (about $20) which was enough to do both mine and my cousins. Threw out the pens. Sanded the caps. Used some of that putty that when mixed turns into metal to fill the open ends of the caps and rounded them off. Primer and metallic paint later... New, very cool food capsules that will last (metal clips!).

    Should have pics fairly soon.

My Jedi is more "illuminated" than yours... She has transcended the need for such things ;) [face_laugh]

Act II storyboards are finished! I've seen a preliminary model from Na-Gong of the building in Act II and it is excellent!
Don't ask me to post pics, cause I won't. Saving it for the film!

You know it! I'm having fun doing them. Although it does create a tangible way of looking at how much work is ahead. It's kind of scary.

I started on Act III storyboards today. This is the hardest part. The big battles and careful choreography.

The Indiana Jones "Making Of" on the new DVD's talk a lot about making it up as you go along. I think I will take that approach for the big lightsaber battle.

I'll choreograph it ahead of time, but won't figure out the camera shots until we are on set. I'll just get the major cut points and dialog points drawn out.

Hope to have it all done before the meeting on the 15th.

JD, tell me which pic you would like me to use of you. And, I hate to admit it, but what did I have you down for playing? I think you'd make a good Wix (#2 Thug).
