    *sigh*

A bunch of my friends are in Fredricton right now for Samwise's Canada Cord ceremony, but I'm still here in Moncton. Oh well, good book.

Samwise's Canada Cord ceremony? What's that?

The Canada Cord is the highest award a Pathfinder can achieve. It's given for actually completing the entire program.

BTW, her real name isn't Samwise, obviously. It was her sister that I was using as evidence that the puppet wasn't evil.

Oh my life! I don't even know what a Pathfinder is! I'm really not up-to-date on something here!

Don't worry, not a lot of people have heard of Pathfinders. It's part of Guiding.

    Sparks (kindergarten & grade 1)
    Brownies (2&3)
    Girl Guides (4-6)
    Pathfinders (7-9)
Senior Branches: Rangers, Cadets or Junior Leaders (10-12)

A lot of girls drop out part way through Guides.

    Oh, ok, I gotcha! :)

I was in Beavers and Cubs, but I didn't move on to Scouts, because none of my friends did, either. :(

Well DoY, I need to go. I'm here in my office while there's a social happening right outside. I'm going to stop being anti-social and go join them! See ya!

Yay for socializing. My mom's out of town and my dad's catering some weddding, so it's been just me and my little sister driving each other crazy all day.

LOL! I definitely know what that's like! I have 2 little brothers, and we've driven each other crazy for years. Now we're still crazy, but we love each other! :)

    How old is your sister?

My sister's 14. I have an 11 year old brother too. I love them, but, well, we're siblings.

Cool! You're about the same age distance as I am with my siblings. I'm 21, and my brothers are 17 and 15.

Cool. The middle school has discovered that we're spaced in such a way that just when they get rid of one, the next one starts.
