Delusional. It is a simple case of business. Disney dollars are going no where, but back into Disney!

Do you get high before each time you post?

There is absolutely nothing pointing to that but unsubstantiated rumor and fanboy speculation

High on common sense. Who in their right mind would allow another company to make money off, of their product, especially Disney. Feel free to indulge in your denial/wishful thinking.

Let's both of you take a break on unsubstantiated rumor and name calling, mmkay? Next person that gets snooty with the other is going for a timeout in the corner.

OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but Randy wasn't very specific in refuting the rumor, was he? He just implied that it wasn't entirely true.

That was certainly my take on his statement not to believe everything 'you read on the internet'.

Yes, it didn't really read like a "debunking".

Disney used to farm out it's comics to other publishers. Then it bought Marvel. Now basically all it's comics are Marvel. Or at least the majority of them. Certain ones, if not all, had their license not renewed.

It's 19 pages of everyone standing around the Falcon chatting about the health risks of blue milk. page 20-21 is a giant random explosion that cuts the conversation short. final splash page is Luke Skywalker dead.

Is the random explosion from Chewbacca's butt, as it turns out he is blue lactose intolerant?

Better if each film has at least three years put into it. More time means more quality.

On paper, less time was spent on AOTC than any other prequel. George started writing TPM back in, what, 94? Took his sweet time with it. And as we know, a good chunk of the plot elements of ROTS were already laid out.

So what chris hayes says is true... from a certain point of view.

Chances are the entire ST has been mapped out to some extent. This definitely won't be a repeat of the PT situation, where Lucas didn't really have it well thought out, apart from a few strands here and there. My guess is they know full well what will happen, who will do what and so forth.

The more I think about it, it was incredibly risky not to lock-down at least treatments for the entire PT before shooting TPM. Unlike the ST, where the end can be where ever the story leads the writers, the end of the PT was known, and there are times when you can feel Lucas very admirably writing himself out of a corner that he wrote himself into due to discovering issues with the story he didn't anticipate.

Let's face it: prequels are just an annoying, troublesome storytelling device, no matter how you slice it.

No matter what anyone thinks about Prometheus (I loved it, but that's me), I think its approach to prequels is the only way to work with that constraint. Writing a new story in the same universe that only hints at connections to the other, later story means you're not locked into a pre-determined endpoint, and so the story can grow organically (no pun intended). TCW does something similar, and I think that's why that show works so well, too, and why some people actually find it more satisfying than the PT.

What the hell does TCW do new? It's more often then not re hashes or filler with a few gems

I don't think a civilised discussion will ensue if you approach it while foaming at the mouth.

I would also contend that Genndy's Clone Wars series also captures the feeling of the OT and is immensely more satisfying to watch than say AotC, too.
