good ending, but it was not better than reckoning. Not a great episode, JP. If they can't get Batman they should not use some weak imitation.

 

i agree. they shouldn't use some imitation of batman if they aren't going to use the real thing. even if they did use batman wouldn't bruce wayne still be in his younger years. aren't him and clark the same age roughly?

 

yeah i know they would not have a suited up Batman, they would have Bruce Wayne, but since they did not get him, they got that girl.

 

so is that implying that this may be the final season?

i hope not!

 

I thought it was alot better than Reckoning. Simply because the time rewind in Reckoning did nothing for me. Welling and O'Toole were superb in the last scene. Yes way too many Batman similarities, but the rest of the epi clicked for me, what can I say?

 

The Batman bit was so blatant that my three year old daughter kept insisting it was Batman.

I didn't much care for that portion, but the ending, when he credited his adopted father for keeping him from going to far, and when Lana found his dad's watch, that was great. Having had a similar experience just over a year ago, I got all teared up when Johnathan was saying goodbye to them on the home movies.

 

I swear they were even playing themes form the Keaton Batman movie

i agree. great stuff. it'll be interesting to see Chloe be committed. i wonder if she'll see her mom in the asylum?

 

On this week and next week and then we have a month and a half for a new epi. I hate hiatus.

 

i hate the hiatus to. but at least i have my new episodes of 24 every week

good episode. i wish they had taken the killer out better, but Allison was very good in the episode.

There was such a great Clark/Chloe vibe going on, though. I especially loved the talk between them at the end.

And I cheered the fact that the distance is growing between Lana and Clark because I cannot wait for them to break up. In fact, I was a little surprised that she still even considered the two of them a couple after everything that happened in the 100th episode (notwithstanding the bit with Jonathan's watch).

The preview for "Cyborg" looked pretty good.

 

i though it kind of sucked because it didnt have that much special effects

 

According to this weeks Ask Auisello @ tv guide the hiatus ends March 30th instead of April 6th!
