in short. some meteor freak has the ability to turn people into statues so he builds a whole replica of Smallville High and kidnaps people from the graduating class. he turns them into statues and then puts them in the replica school. also Lex and Lionel are kidnapped by Jason and his mom who are looking for one of the stones

Gotcha..I remember it know. Thanks Conor. hmmm well..they kinda had to run it that day didn't they. (I watched a lot of them on Sunday). It had something to do ending the Jason and him Mom scenario if I recall.

plus...we get to see more Lois.

personally i'd like to see at least one of the other DC Comic characters like Flash, Aquaman, or Cyborg return whether it be towards the end of this season or sometime next season

Thats a bummer!! I think a Young Bruce Wayne in his "Angry" period might be a cool concept.

I thought Blank was a great episode. I love the way that the series openers and finalies are given noticeably larger budgets. Honestly, I just love this show - period. Its the best show this side of HBO and like most other people my age ( late twenties ) I laughed it out of the room when it first came out. What a mistake. The character development is incredible, the overall shows story arc ( which is basically Clarks character development ) is remarkably seamless ( except for some hair issues ), and the once absurd idea of Clark and Lex being friends with each other in a juxtapositional manner, is now, IMO, the most refreshing idea for television in decades. Rosenbaum richly deserves Emmys and Golden Globes that he'll never get. And the show is getting better - which is amazing for a syndicated network. Two more seasons, I hope - with a theatrically released movie to cap it all off, completely seperate from the upcoming film ( which looks really good, too ).

EDIT - Oh yeah, and Chloes going to definetely die, too. That character is a great example of the writers brillance - the girl Clark should be with, loves him unconditionally, the career Clark ends up in and the woman Clark ultimately is with, who turns out to be her remarkably similar cousin - evidence that Clark wont be making the same mistakes in his adult life. Chloe really is a remarkable concept.

I doubt that they'll make a film that is based off of the smallville storyline.

Superfriends was an early version of the Justice League I think.

Superfriends was a 1980's cartoon about the Justice League vs. The Legion of Doom. It was pretty good for the time, one of my favorites.

I brought it up because one of the original episodes had Lex and Clark as friends. Lex actually found a way to cure Clark of the effects of Kryptonite. There was an explosion in Lex's lab causing him to go bald permanently. He vowed to get revenge on Clark/Superman. Anyway, just wanted to bring up a fun story from the past.:)
