I didn't watch the sitcom much, but the movie was good.

not particularly. he had a fetish for proving aristotle wrong. blech. and the pope had beef with him because he supported the copernican theory of how not everything revolves around the earth.

 

But if I'm not mistaken wasn't the heliocentric theory proved correct? Either way, he died because people knew he was right.

no! he died because something was srong with him physically, not because people knew he was right. i believe he died because the confinement was too much.

 

Oh, of course, I haven't read anything on Galileo lately, and only then it was in the history book. I do know a lot about DesCartes and his analytical geometry.

 

we haven't studied his analutical geometry yet, and probably won't for a while because my school system's stupid
