St. Lou, MO Official St. Louis Blues 2003-2004 Season Thread

I know I'm late but it still works. So what do you all think of their chances this year? Considering Ally Mac could be done for good and there nagging injuries throughout the team already, I don't feel so hot about this year.

 

OMG! Where have YOU been? Or am I just a typical blond ditz and not seen your recent posts?

 

I say they have the same chance as always. Lead us into the play-offs great, then crap out. Sorry, huge fan, but keep getting let down.

I went to all the free scrimmages. Good times. Got to have some awesome conversations with Bear and Khavy.

 

We beat Detroit!

We shouldn't have gone to OT, but we won anyway. Thats 4 in a row!!! I'm wondering if Tkachuk is suspended for the stick to the neck. Umm, it wasn't on purpose.

 

I turned it off in disgust when San Jose tied it, but I'm stoked we won. But Tkachuk will be suspended, it wasn't aimed for the neck but that was a bad hit...

 

How are the boys doing? I haven't been subjected to the games on TV this season so I haven't been keeping up.

 

I was at the game tonight against LA, and it was awesome as always.

We're 14-6-1-1 BTW.

 

RETRO NIGHT!!! Did you get a Puzzle Cube?

 

I did, but I'm afraid of trying to actually do it. I was never good with puzzle cubes.

And I liked retro night, but now I want a retro jersey, and I can't afford it.

 

I actually prefer the 'Retro' jerseys to what we have now, but I'm an old man.

Hopefully tonight, we jump the hurdle and actually kick Detroit's ass for once. Watching a Detroit/Blues game is like watching a car wreck.

 

For those keeping score, the Blues haven't lost a game in December, (yet). 6-0-1

 

I went to go see my first Blues game about two weeks ago against the Predators. Going to a Blues game is awesome!! We won too, 4-1 or something. It was great; everyone was shouting "WE WANT TACOS" when there was about 2 min. left in the game. LOL! It's different when you actually go to a game. Lots more action.

P.S. I heard on the radio the Rams have a promotion like the Blues 5 goal thing. If the Rams score 5 touchdowns, (its either Jack in the Box or Hardees?) this place sells hamburgers for 35 cents the following day. Can anyone clarify this?

I was there. Slow game. Went to the game against the BJs the other night too.
