On this show, we will review the twenty finalists for the 2004 Star Wars Fan Film Awards, organized by Atomfilms and Lucasfilm Ltd. We will review and announce our own winners. We will also discuss the actual winners and choices that were made at Comic-Con just before our actual show. Star Wars en Direct Special Edition - August 27,28,29th, 2004
SWD at the Canadian National Expo

The SWD crew will be spending the weekend in Toronto at the Canadian National Expo. We will mostly hang out and meet fans during the day. Of course we will be broadcasting during the evening from our hotel room and discuss multiples subjects including a round-up of our day at the con. Yesterday (Sept.7th) marks SWD's one year anniversary of broadcasting in english. I would say that our first year has met our expectations with 27 shows and some interesting interviews for a total of 79 hours...ouch! Thanks for keeping count Nathan.

On this show we will discuss a very delicate subject... How is the relation between LFL and the fansites?

Are the fansites better than the Official Site & Hyperspace? With all the RotS images that leaked on fansites lately do you think Lucasfilm is doing the right thing by upholding the law on fansites instead of working with them for the better good of the fandom? What should be done from both sides? We want to know what you think.

We will have many special guests to discuss those subjects, including T-Bone from StarWarz.com, Fatboy Roberts, Xoanon the webmaster of TheOneRing.net who will give us and insight on the relation with the LOTR franchise and the fansites. We also welcome any Lucasfilm officials who would like to give their opinion. Other guests/webmasters to be announced.

Interview with Shane Felux from Revelations

On this show we will have the chance to talk with Shane Felux, the Director / actor of the ground breaking fan-film Star Wars : Revelations.

Revelations takes place between Episodes 3 and 4 of the Star Wars Saga. Emperor Palpatine's power has spread throughout the galaxy. Darth Vader is a feared figure. The Jedi are hunted fugitives. Anyone suspected of harboring Jedi or having any information about them is taken into Imperial custody.

Our heroine, Taryn Anwar, has broken way from Imperial control and is searching for an ancient Jedi artifact. Said to contain great power, it could be the key to destroying the Empire -- if she can locate it before Zhanna, the Emperor?s Hand, does. It?s a race between good and evil as the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.
