The only way I would except his survival is if the wolves some how save him.

It'll be like the end of Lion King when Scar gets eaten alive by the hyenas.

How lame would it be if the only way a Rebels protagonist survives is because of the actions of a dead TCW protagonist. Screw that. Ezra should get out alive on his own terms.

There is just no way he can survive Sheev. If you think he can then tell me how you think he could do it?

With the way Kanan died, I also want to see Ezra be killed in a heroic fashion. Sure he could intentionally leave the Rebellion/Jedi path, but it wouldn't feel right to me. Would Ezra really abandon his friends and ignore the rest of the war? It isn't a good explanation to why Luke is the only Jedi in the rebellion during the OT era. Instead Ezra should fall helping his friends in combat. His last breath is as the Jedi that Kanan built up. Besides we already were given Ashoka walking away from the Jedi and clone wars in the last series.

or, you know, not get out alive. I agree I definitely don't want a last second Ahsoka cameo to save Ezra after she was absent the past two seasons.

The less Ahsoka saving everyone the better.

Would you consider Ezra thwarting Palpatine's plans for Lothal a rebel "victory"?

Yes, but it's obviously a case of "winning the battle, not the war".

Ahsoka doesn't have to save everyone to still be a presence.

I do not want her to have a significant impact on the story of the finale because I believe that would detract from the merits of the original Rebels characters. The whole point is that it's the end of their stories. It shouldn't be a platform to pay lip service to butthurt TCW fans.

It's not about "paying lip service to butthurt TCW fans". It's about tying up loose ends. They can most certainly do that without infringing on the main storyline of the Rebels protagonists.

Ahsoka isn't a loose end that needs to be wrapped up in the series finale of Rebels. It distracts from the main point - the end of the story of the Ghost crew. Ahsoka is not part of that story anymore and she should not come back just for the sake of tying up a 2 season old loose end. There is a plethora of other media for them to tell Ahsoka's story in should they decide to actually make it official that she survived the duel with Vader.

If the group deals with Mortis, I can't possibly see how Ahsoka wouldn't be a presence in some form.

This Mortis thing has gotten me very curious. Now we have a tablet and the jedi temple on lothal is very important for some reason. I don't think we have seen the last of these super beings.

Or just less Ahsoka, period. She might be dead. She should be dead.
Ftfy? :p I'm teasing...but srsly, Filoni has got to let her go.
I'm super fascinated by this tablet! I think its a key.

Hmmm The Father, Son and Daughter. The Force Priestesses who taught Yoda about force ghosts, and the temple on Lothal.
Two groups of force "gods" and a temple, could Lothal be where they ascended?. Assuming they were ever mortal.

Hey, I agree on the first two of those, but SVTFOE is dope.

My daughters made me watch it with them -- from the looks of it, it seemed beneath their age level, but it's got some depth. Not Steven Universe or Gravity Falls level depth, but up there. The more cartoony-looking cartoons are always more sophisticated than the more action/drama ones...

I'm certainly not going to debate anyone with daughters over SVTFOE. I'd imagine it would be a show that girls could enjoy :)

    Yeah, this.

It would be odd to return to Mortis and not to mention Ahsoka at all. After all, she has a link to The Daughter.

Even if she plays the role of Qui-Gon, in the Mortis Arc, and is just a guiding voice for Ezra. There has to be something in order not to be a plot hole.

That's a fair point. And unlike Qui-Gon, she can actually attest to the dangers on Mortis from a firsthand account.

They also shouldn't keep her out to play lip service to butt hurt Ahsoka haters either. There's nothing wrong with giving the character a legitimate ending, and it doesn't need to over-shadow any other Rebels characters to do this.
