I don't think he literally said "I'm sorry". It's just that in every interview about it ever he made a point to say how it was all Lucas' idea. The "Creating Mandalore" video on the Season 2 DVD comes to mind.

 

So what do you guys expect were going to get from a tie-in video game. Something proper and in the NEU, or something rushed or for Disney Infinity.

Another thing Filoni wanted to make very clear was NOT his idea by constantly referring to it as coming from GL is Darth Maul's return.

 

You know, I'm actually quite interested about where Ezra will get the crystal for the staple-gun saber.

 

Any photos of Ezra's lightsaber from the Series. I as intrested in what it looked like compared to Kanan's and the Inquisitor's thin blades.

 

Ezra's lightsaber, which looks like a staple gun. Which makes sense if you're trying to hide that it's a lightsaber.

 

How does that Blaster even work.

It's a blaster. I assume he's going to abandon the slingshot when he gets this, because judging from the trailers the slingshot does absolutely nothing.

Do you have the links to all the interviews? I've seen and heard a couple were he doesn't mention Lucas in regard to Mandalore, they'd be RFR since I don't really visit many movie or TV sites.

 

It also makes the lightsaber look more like, well, a saber (or a cutlass) - akin to giving it a handguard:

Ezra doesn't need that; he already shot himself in the foot with his Rebels promos.

 

I can understand the sentiment.

What Disney did was unnecessary and instead hurts the star wars universe. I could understand if Disney wanted to remove some EU (post-RoTJ or even Pre-RoTJ) if they believed that could benefit their future star wars content. However removing all EU, regardless of era, is overkill. Rebels and the ST could be made with a lot of the EU still existing.

It is quite sad how a universe full of so many eras (pre-republic, old republic, PT, dark times, OT, New Republic, NJO, Legacy), with many stories in each, is now down to only 3 eras. And of course not only are many eras erased, but the the 3 existing eras (PT, dark times, OT) now are less rich, and more plain then what they used to be. Of course eventually were going to get a post-RoTJ era with the ST and other content in that area, however It will be a long time, perhaps never, before the new continuity has the amount of stories and eras that the old universe had.

 

Wish it was not blue. Green or yellow (could have been the first single bladed yellow blade in the new canon), or even *gasp* red (good guy with a red blade is rare in star wars). Blue is already in use by Kanan, so I think it would have been better to give Aladdin a different color. Perhaps they chose blue to make it more like Anakin and Obiwan (master and apprentice having same the same blue color).

 

I found this video from the panel... Circa 27:00 there is a clip with Hera and Sabine (audio only ). I hear AOTC music... and acklay?

 

I had to torrent it myself not a thing I like doing I hope I don't have to do the same with rebels btw in the UK we have yet to see TCW S6 on our Netflix .
