    ...I think I'm starting to get a brain aneurysm now...

    Anyway, that aside, I thought the new preview was fantastic. Was kinda hoping that Chop would be a little more prominent, but that's probably because he's my favorite character out of the Ghost gang so far! Chopper is to R2-D2 as HK-47 is to C-3PO, at least in my eyes. :p

    Pretty sure it's already been stated, but I'm also quite pleased that Rebels isn't so much 'ACTION, ACTION, ACTION!' compared to both Clone Wars cartoons. Things seem a lot more realistic when the 'behind-the-scene' stuff is shown, what the characters are doing when they AREN'T going around fighting the enemy.

    I liked how Chopper prevented Ezra from following Sabine personally. But I agree about the relaxed tone as well. It was nice.

    The reason clone wars was "action action action" was becuase it was THE CLONE WARS it was supposed to have "action action action" and it wqs also supposed to tell the great battles that happened between AOTC and ROTS

    I want it to be a fun adventure. Like an Indy film. Its why star wars ep 4 is my fav movie.

    I think it makes it feel like A New Hope. There were bits in that movie where they kind of just talked and not much was happening, and this was a good thing.

    Kabob: For some, I suppose. I don't see anything light hardly in anything SW and for me the humour is flat and forced. But, perceptions. To each their own.

    I kind of like that the characters get time to relax in this. I love action but character growth is needed. TCW felt like nonstop action all the time.

    From what I hear of Greg Wiesman's earlier works character development is one of his stronger areas of expertise. I guess it'll depend on who has more creative control- him or Filoni. And even TCW had its fair share of development. It sometimes came seasons apart, but it did show up occasionally. I think people overlook it somewhat because when character development was lacking, boy did it fall flat on its ass. Barriss the Bomber, anyone?

    Why? All the clones are dead or getting older at this point. Besides, it makes the Empire seem more patriotic when they have an army of loyal citizens who actually wanted to sign up rather than an army of clones bred for the sole purpose of fighting, not allowed to do anything else.
