If we do eventually go to Bespin, it'll be interesting seeing Cloud City without it being infested with Imperials.

The actor who played Amon plays Zeb.

I was surprised to and it is a nice little call back to when DF directed some avatar last air bender episodes.

That head kick was pretty cool. I wonder how much information the Inquisitor really knows about former Jedi. Even Ex-Jedi; for that matter.

The ensemble cast does feel like a Disneyfied version of Firefly. Like someone took Firefly's main cast and melded it into the Rescue Rangers except Malcolm is Brooklyn from Gargoyles . Now that one piece of Firefly fanart floating around makes sense. I'm glad I didn't think much of Space Cases when watching and there is nothing sentai team like besides the number of characters and ratio of males to females and Ezra unfortunately occasionally reminding me of a certain kid named Justin Stewart.

The intros and the movie were the first three. The disruptor story is four, the TIE hijinks is five, the Inquisitor intro is six, there's at least one episode devoted to the local Academy, and one where they meet C-3PO and R2. That leaves 8 episodes.

 

One more day for me until Spark of Rebellion...

I should post on the non-spoiler thread really as I keep on nearly seeing storylines etc. I'm really looking foward to this series, and I hope it has that ANH/OT feel to it that I've been reading about in the reviews. I'm not bothered about it being adult or dark (although of course that will be a bonus at certain times I'm sure) as long as it's fun, gripping, and the story arcs are interesting. Can't wait...

 

I highly doubt they're counting the shorts and movie as actual episodes in season one. All of the TV spots say the show begins October 13, which is when the actual show starts airing. If they included the movie and shorts, they would say something about those in the TV spot.

Also, 3PO and R2 are in the first episode, Droids in Distress.

 

From a production level the first two episodes are Spark of Rebellion. Its also pretty much the series pilot.

Do we know how many episodes are in the first season? I think I remember reading these were shorter seasons than TCW.
