Which is commendable, yet quite irritating when it comes together with a statement that Empire and Rebels do the same - which they don't. We can discuss the morality of the Rebels in a different thread if you wish.

 

Just stop. Either talk about Rebels, or leave. And you really should not be judging people. And since this is talk about Rebels: We honestly don't know if the Rebels have or have not killed innocent people. I bet there are some really tough cells out there. In war, both sides sometimes do harsh/brutal things to achieve victory.

 

Yay, now we are all understood and friends again.

 

Kassius, that was pretty cool, what you just did. That you humbled up and apologized of your own accord, with that level of sincerity, completely changed my opinion of you for the better. It's not an easy thing for anybody to do something like that, but you stepped up. And that deserves some praise.

Most likely time restraint. Although because it's a well defined duration, it's a bit more complex.

Let's say there are a pair of scenes, A and B. Due to the absolute time constraint, A + B must be exactly 20 seconds.

The production team created two versions: A1 + B1, and A2 + B2. The first one is a 15+5 composition, the second is a 12+8 composition.

After being discussed with the director, the director thinks that B sub scene needs to be expanded. So they choose A2 + B2. That means, A1 has 3 additional seconds that A2 does not.

In this case, A1 is the "deleted cut".

Not the first time it has happened either.

 

Just began rewatching the series. I really like Erza, because he gets some major character development throughout the series. And I find his personality fun to watch. I do like that Kallus is at least competent to a point.

 

Rewatching the series, I have noticed less Imperial stupidity than I did the first time through. They may not be massacre threatening, but I have noticed times when our heroes have been very stressed about their presence. Its helped to relax me a bit on that issue.
