Full Series Official Star Wars Rebels Music Thread

I hope with the upcoming soundtrack they release it on CD. Disappointed TCW soundtrack was digital only. I like to pop my SW soundtracks in while I play SWTOR. To add Rebels to my SW soundtrack collection physically would also be great. If Disney will release that Lion Guard show on CD, then they should for Rebels.

 

I think my favorite music from S2 has to be the tribute to Horner from the B-Wing episode. The Ahsoka's fate theme is cool, but the rocketeer theme is a classic.

How come noone saved that track when it was out! Aaargh!

Also, there is a track playing after Tarkintown has been burned and Ezra sees the smoke coming from the city. He hops onto a speeder bike to see what has happened. Anyone knows the name of the track? The scene I am referring to is from the 'Siege of Lothal'.

 

Anyone know when these two tracks played in the series? Where the Sun Sails and the Moon Walks & Push Though both are composed by the "Kiner Brothers" (Sean & Dean Kiner) and are from series 2.

 

they must be unused tracks. The first sounds like an alternate version of "It's Over Now" (maybe half of the fully composed track?)

 

Ah, thought as much after watching most of the series back and not hearing those. Indeed the first track does sound a lot like It's Over Now. Did anyone happen to save the "Legends of the Jedi" and "Ahsoka's Fate" tracks from David Glen Russell's SoundCloud before they were taken down?

I think It's Over Now is by far the best work of Kiner, along with Ahsoka's Theme.

 

I agree. Also, that scene is by far the most beautifully shot in the entirety of Star Wars.

 

I think R1 might give that a run for its money, the disparity in size shown between the Death Star and the Star Destroyers was pretty staggering.

Now I'm even more anticipating the soundtrack release. I'm just hoping beyond hope for a physical CD release and not just digital like TCW series soundtrack.

Anyone know when the Cham music cue from Homecoming plays in the episode? I just re-watched it but didn't really hear any of the track, even though I was listening out for it.

I did stumble upon one track that's not in your list, namely Ketsu from the Kiner Brothers. Is there any reason why you left this track out?

 

I left Ketsu off by accident, it goes before Ketsu and Sabine's History. There is a lot more music from the series featured in games but I don't have the links for those, unfortunately.

Star Wars Show reveals release date for Rebels series 1 & 2 soundtracks!

Series 1 (28 tracks) - September 16th
Series 2 (33 tracks) - September 30th

No news on where to download them or track lists though! Probably Itunes and other such places.

 

Really was hoping for a physical release alongside the digital...

 

This is amazing news, I really cannot wait for Friday now!
