    I love Super Bowl Sunday.
The hot wings and chips and nachos.
Use this thread to share recipes or talk about what you're having/serving at your party.

    Don't forget the beer. ;)

My church youth group does a super bowl party every year and they serve the usuals. Chips and dip, nachos, meatballs, little weinies, etc...... But there's one thing that I think is genius. They serve bowls of chili throughout the entire game which I love so much:D

    Bacon Joes

    - 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
    - 1 lb. Ground Pork
    - 1 lb. Bacon
    - 1/3 cup Chopped White Onion
    - 1/3 cup Chopped Green Bellpepper
    - 1/3 cup Chopped Celery
    - (1) 15-oz can Hunts Stewed Tomato
    - (1) 10-oz can Ro-Tel tomato
    - (1) Bottle of Barbecue Sauce (your choice)
    - Salt and Pepper to taste.

Cook bacon until crisp - set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
Add onion, bell pepper, and celery to the drippings and sautee until wilted.
Add ground beef and pork to the pot, cook until well done, stirring often.
Add barbecue sauce and tomatoes, stir well.
Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with two slices of bacon on a fresh bun of your choice. :) Can also be served over rice or noodles.

    Enjoy!

Yeah. The Thanksgiving game, in particular, was bittersweet in that they were good enough for me to actually be quite sour about the loss. And damn, it'd been awhile since that happened. :p

Well, this year's Super Bowl is just a 're-run' of 2/3/2008. Nothing that special. In all honesty Who really gives a crap who wins? During the trophy presentation either Eli Manning will spout a bunch of crap about his team or Tom Brady will do the same.

I am more interested in the commercials and whatever crap some multimillion dollar corporations decided was worthy to spend on this ****!

Oh do I sound bitter? I don't mean to. Our team (from my job) is trying to avoid going into work next Sunday night and if we time it right all is good..... I already smell failure.

As for food, some simple chips and salsa will work just fine. I am not going to get so involved that I will be forced to waste food!! [face_plain]

My parents cook for a living. They always look for some interesting new superbowl recipe. Last year, they made some amazing bacon delicacies. :D

My wife and I were reading about the battle for the best chicken and waffles in Dallas so we're going to pick some up from one of the contenders on the way to the party.
Also, the fries from Wing Stop are the very best there is.
