Pittsburgh, PA "Official" T-shirt ordering thread.

Only those that post a request for t-shirt through this SPECIFIC thread will have shirts ordered for them. Right now the cost should be $8-9 dollars and I don't see that changing but I'll will find out to be sure by Thursday 1/9/03.

Please be sure that if you are ordering the shirts to have your money ready Sat the 11th at the lifeday party. If you can't make it to the meeting then please e-mail me immediately if you want a shirt. Give me your info and then we will have to arrange for payment.

IMPORTANT: Shirts will NOT be ordered for those who have not paid. If we don't get the money I can't pay the supplier and NO ONE gets shirts, so please be sure that you will pay for your shirts.

(I've been burned before on getting things ahead of time, so I willnot let this happen again.)

Once you post in this thread do not edit the information. Rather if you want to add more/change color/size post again and say at the top that post "This is in addition to" or "replacement of"

All posts will be considered final on Thursday 1/9/03 at NOON.

The dark color is black and the light color is white.

(There will be a slight design change to the pocket only to stylize it a bit more. Mostly the type style as opposed to the graphic.)

Sweet, i like the shirts, im gonna scrap together some money.

 

Okay so it seems too many people won't be able to make payment by the 11th. SO here is the alternative...

Mail me a money order ONLY (no checks)
leave the name blank for now as I am not sure if the guy needs his name or business name for the money orders and I don't know the name of his business, just his name. Again, I must stressa that you will be taking a chance on this not getting to me in time to make the order.

Since I am not positively sure if the shirts will cost more than $8-9 dollars then please send $10 per shirt. If it is less I will refund the dollar.

Now this also presents another problem.
How will you get your shirts. I don't want to get burned on shipping them so if you want these shipped include at least $3.00 per shirt. Again if this is more than needed the balance will be refunded to you.

I would honestly prefer to just give these out at the meeting in Februray so PLEASE, only if you absolutely can't make the meeting will I ship them. I need this to be as easy as possible. For those who may be leary of sending a money order or are questioning the cost of shipping I will send you the receipt as well, to prove the cost.

Btw, I met RebelDawn (Tina) and her family last night by the Ikea at Robinson.

Nice family. Her son collects SW Legos.
She has a wee little one named Hanna and Tina herself is from Michigan and has only been in the area since August 1999. They actually live in Stuebinville (sp?), OH but made the special trip to meet me and pay for t-shirts. I showed them my lightsaber that I got at the toy convention.
We talked for about 15-20 minutes and she said that she hopes to meet us all in the near future.

 

can't wait to meet her and the rest of the family too = maybe all our kids can play together

 

Well, I just talked to the t-shirt vendor. He should get me a final quote by the end of the day.

One problem though, since the logo has black in it, this will not show up on the black shirt. I will need to "reverse" the colors so whatever is black is white and white to black for those who want the Black t-shirt.

If there are objections please voice them now. This is precisely why I wanted only one color shirt. The price will most likely go up now and the design for the back logo WILL be different.

I will need to know ASAP. Changing the order number at this stage can also increase cost.

I will try by tonight to show you all what the "reversed " logo will look like so you can see for yourselves how this will be printed on the black t-shirt.

So now that you can see that the graphic is reversed, I need only those who ordered t-shirt as of yesterday (1/10/03) to respond and tell me if you wish to change your order. I will need a response by Tue 1/14/03 otherwise your previous order will stand.

They all look good to me. I wanted to wait to see how this graphic detail got worked out, and now that it seems to be taken care of, I'll say:

I'll bring $20 for you Sal. Was there any word on if the price increased due to the change?

 

I still like the black t-shirt. BTW..when I said one of each, I meant size, not color.

And as for meeting jedi_master_sal and his fiance, they are real friendly folk and I greatly appreciate them taking the time to meet us at Ikea so that I could pay for the t-shirts. My son was WAY impressed with the lightsaber and now thinks that Sal is one of the coolest ppl in the world . I liked it too. Now, of course, I want one!!

Looking forward to meeting more of you one day soon and my son is real excited to have found more star wars fans other than me and him, lol.
