To be honest I was looking forward to the comic more then the episode this week.. Loving every new page!

 

I wonder if we are going to see romance between the clones and the ladies.

 

I like the latest addition to the webcomic - the story going off on separate tangents. Is it just me or is the webcomic sticking to a linear timeline rather than jumping around like the TV episodes are doing?

 

I'm liking Ventress in the latest addition of the webcomic. I think she looks best when hooded.

Interesting that as soon as Ahsoka sees those battle droids in the asteroid, it is confirmed that it's a Separatist holdout. Yet in Sphere of Influence she gets jumped by battle droids on the Trade Federation ship and that doesn't really mean anything.

 

Wow, I'm impressed. Everything wrong with the Season 2 webcomic was fixed. The schedule is more or less normal, the story is more than exciting enough to keep us waiting for the next installment, and the art is consistent.

Keelyvine vs. Ventress...

 

I still think it's sad that for the last couple episodes I looked forward to the comic more then the show

 

She didn't have anyone around to interdependently verify it.

Seriously, you have to remember the Republic is corrupt. The Trade Federation has enough pull that no censure would pass with every loophole, ambiguity and logical fallacy possible being thrown at the accusers. This is a minor mining operation headed by the Hutts, who no one likes. Obviously it will be easier to "prove".

 

Seriously. The very idea of Ventress vs. Keelyvine to me was cooler than most of the last episode. I'm kind of giddy to see that fight, even though I know it'll be hard to fulfill expectations in five-page intervals.

Keelyvine literally lets her hair down, which makes her even hotter. Interesting talk about Ventress being afraid of disappointing her master, I wonder it they purposefully timed it so this bit would be released just before the Nightsisters episode, which seems to sort of tackle this issue.

 

I have to agree. I always loved her design, now even more.

However, I don't understand how paired sabers are a sign of Dooku's touch.

 

Yeah, that didn't make sense to me either. If she'd said "curved" lightsabers, then ok...

 

Pretty cool.

Interesting that Keelyvine used to have Master issues, given that she's having trouble with Tyzen. Interesting also that Ventress mentions how aggressive she is...

I think that this was definately planned to appear right before the Nightsisters arc. It's the perfect time for them to mention Ventress' relationship with Dooku, given that the relationship is about to come apart.

 

Just to clarify, I don't like Hodges' style in general, but his version of Keelyvine is my favourite in comparison with the other webcomic artists' versions, like this one:

That's not Keelyvine.

 

Considering at least three of Dooku's apprentices use the two bladed style, I would say there has to be something going on there.

Is anyone else getting the impression that Keelyvine might be one of Dooku's past apprentices? If so, it would be interesting to see the differences between her and Ventress.

 

Actually she says herself that Dooku taught her in saberarts not as padawan so nope she cannot be his past apprentice

 

Just because Dooku taught her lightsaber arts doesn't mean she coukdn't have been his Padawan.

Anyway, this is just idle speculation. Nothing to get excited about.

Too bad to ruin your theory but she actually says "Not as a padawan only in saberarts" i think that quite well says she was not his padawan of course she can be lying for some odd reason

 

Has there been any update on weather or not we'll get the season 2 webcomics collected?
