Ahh, darn it! That would be the perfect script. Oh well, I'll write a script about it anyway and see what people think of the script and i'll let anyone produce it if they want to.

AWB, not only is it too hard, but it has nothing to do with a forest.
Unless you're really changing things around.

    One quick question:
Does it have to have anything to do with star wars besides the lightsabre fight...?

I will just say the script is funny and I will write it anyway. Actually I will type it. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan take on the trade federation army. Jar Jar and Boss Nass take on Darth Maul. Anakin faces the Nemoidians. And Padmé leads the fight against the trade federation battleship. That's as much as I can give away. BTW, it was my brother's idea, he wrote it in a few paragraphs, I will write it in a full script.

    Hi, everyone.

This may be a silly question, but here it goes: the scripts we submit are supposed to follow the SW film's narrative structure? That is, do I need a title like the ones George uses, the scrolling text before the movie kicks in, etc, or am I free to present the story as I please?

Also, for people having trouble with script formats, there are lots of free Word templates out there specific for screenwriting. You can find some at http://www.filmmaker.com/files/ , and a search on the web should return many more results and options :)

    Thanks,
    Beto Skubs.

No, fanfilms don't need to have a scrolling title.

Remember.... the only requirements are the rules set forth.

If there's no rule that says you have to have a scrolling title, then you don't need to have a scrolling title.

    Cool? Cool.

I've read through the submissions that I've recieved so far - wow, this is looking like a close one. My script isn't even my favorite! However, I will not be editing or re-writing it because . . . well, that just wouldn't be very nice.

Deadline: Two weeks from yesterday. :)

    Title Scroll: Not necessary.

What if we woke up in the middle of the night, seeing exactly what revisions we needed to make to the script? And we made them?

    Can we send it in?

Since the deadline hasn't passed, I'd say you should still be allowed to submit a revision of your script. It'd be no different than if it was the first time you submitted a script, and your other draft should be discarded from the judging.

As long as you didn't receive an e-mail from Padawan_John STATING what those revisions would be. :p

BTW, John, did you receive my script when I sent it?
