Full Series Official "The Clone Wars" Series Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

I would almost want a book written about that dark saber and some of its owners.

 

Any guesses on how old the dark saber is.

 

That's one aspect of TCW that I still appreciate: the stand-alone, self-contained aspect of many episodes. (Specifically Clone Cadets, which I almost always watch first, and consider the first chrono ep.) I frequently rearrange my viewing order, depending on my mood or interest.

 

"Innocents of Ryloth" has become one of my go-to "what should I watch while doing other stuff?" episodes. I get choked up sometimes though especially when Numa starts crying.

She clearly likes playing keep away.

No one loves Ventress more then me. I'd cuddle her to death.

 

If you tried to cuddle her you'd end up dead.

But hey, Ventress looks like she could use a hug anyway. Just make sure you have extra machanical limbs.

 

Ventress could be the perfect anti-hero during the dark times; whether or not we see her in Rebels, remains to be seen.

 

I had been debating whether that Season 7/8 story meeting sketch Filoni shared of Vos carrying Ventress' lifeless/incapacitated body meant that she would perish in that arc. I think it's likely that since they shared this art, she won't die in that arc, otherwise that would've been a ridiculous spoiler. Already we have seen big changes between these sketches and what turns up in the final screenplay, i.e. Vos was in the Son of Dathomir story conference sketch, but he was excised from the final screenplay (not just the comic, the original screenplay also). Filoni has also mentioned that they are making decisions still on whether they will keep certain characters fates the same as they were drafted in the final Clone Wars story conferences, or whether they will decide to use them differently later.

 

Any other word on what the unfinished arcs would be?

 

Well, the one with Vos and Ventress is being adapted into a novel.

 

Ventress in the concept art was bald, while Filoni states now she has hair and this is illustrated for the new novel.

 

Yeah, but I don't think she'll die in it as they already shown that concept art.

Also I would riot.

 

She should become an anti hero in Rebels. That would be cool.

 

I'd rather her be in something else more towards the ROTS end of it, myself.

Same with Ahsoka.

 

She had hair in the flashbacks after Dooku tried to kill her.

 

Well it's a book, so you can ignore that in your mental image.

 

So Ventress shaved her head constantly to prevent hair growth?
