Blimey, I was shaking after the Ahsoka panel. It got pretty emotional in there and Ashley cried.
Best panel of today!

 

I'm getting some strong princess mononoke vibes from Ahsoka riding the giant wolf. No doubt Dave was taking inspiration from it, would have been something to actually see.

 

The siege if Mandalore arc deserves to be completed. That is 1 arc that needs too.

Though I'm not so sure about Ahsoka riding giant wolves

 

Guys, is there any way we can get this show back? I was going back through it on Netflix, and I just rewatched the Season 2 Mandalore episodes. Season 2 TCW was just head and shoulders above Season 2 Rebels in nearly every department. I know that's contrived to say, but going back watching it, it's hard to deny how much better the Clone Wars is. It feels like Rebels is just a complete step backwards.

 

All we can do is show Disney we want it, and hope Dave gets the chance to animate a few last arcs after they finish Rebels. I try to tweet often about how great the show was, and how much I want it back, but that's about all I can do.

 

Hmm. I've been out of the loop, so I'm not sure if it's been discussed elsewhere or whatnot. Can you provide details?

I guess that covers most things but it's the experience that will stick with me, and the pictures. Surreal.

If you want anything clarifying just say (anyone). I haven't watched the Live stream (i was there) and I probably won't for a couple of days- then if there's something I pick on that it missed then I'll mention it.

(same goes for the Rogue One)

 

Dave Showed some concept art from cancelled TCW and she cried.

 

Man, watching this makes me regret my years of being negative toward this show. I should rewatch it with fresh eyes, but only if Dave supplies me with the $100+ for the blu-rays.

@GGrievous I wouldn't worry about it. You see the thing is I kinda grew up with the show, I matched the demographic exactly so Ahsoka has aged along with me, TCW is personal to me so it was quite overwhelming. I guess when I was younger some things were just given a pass because it was fun. Adults I guess don't fully appreciate the worldview and we all see it through our own eyes. What appeared to some as whiny Ahsoka was to others (including me) just a young inexperienced person who was still young.
Same with Ezra.

 

Heh I doubt your the age demographic rebels is actually marketed for.

 

@Jedi Knight Fett Not any more! But you know, I give it a bit of leeway because again I see the appeal to kids there especially with Ezra. I don't think we are ever going to get a "Ezra's Untold Stories" Panel because his story will be wrapped up and not leave a twenty year gap!

Clone commandos should have gotten more love in this show.

Hopefully if we ever get more content in this era we can get stories about Delta Squad, Gregor, etc.

 

Does anyone know of any more clips like this, aside from the ones on starwars.com?

It's a special clip from the Cartoon Network site, that only american users were able to see i believe. It's Filoni talking about the characters and such.

 

A few in here mentioned the Studio Ghibli movie Princess Mononoke. Do any of you know which three celebrities voiced these Ghibli characters?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but I just found that on all the discs on the Season 5 DVD set if you go to the episodes list and press right( you have to scroll down for some of them) there is a secret clip. My favourite one is the retrospective of the show on Disc 4 it gave me the chills.

 

I hope the Ahsoka novel details Order 66 a bit and uses the idea Dave had for it. Sounds pretty epic.
