No and there wasn't anything announced yet either.

Thou I would love an Ahsoka comic mini-series.

I want the next series to follow on from that finale, but I want a new book on what Ahsoka did in the OT times.

While the format was different Rebels kind of ended up doing that since it carried alot of the same characters through different arcs and some character growth. I'm looking at you ol' Rex. I expect the next show will similarly introduce a new 5 man band and maybe a 6th ranger then drag many of the old TCW characters kicking and screaming back into it. I'm cool with this. What I really want from the next TV show is to go back to TCW's more episodic, snapshot style storytelling and be less linear. Sprinkle it with stand-alone stories and multipart arcs. With original characters not doomed by canon this would be even more fun. I know that's probably an unpopular opinion but I love the gaps in between and being allowed to imagine what happened to them. That feels very Star Wars to me.

Well in response to that, I'd suggest the first couple of seasons of Rebels included what some might call "filler" episodes; that really had little to do with the flow of the story itself. Granted, unlike TCW, it always involved the same characters (the Ghost Crew), but they didn't really have anything to do with either the fledgling Rebellion or even saving Lothal.

I hope that the next show brings back the opening narration TCW had. I loved hearing that before every episode.

They could even have Maz open up with a moral quote, like she does in the FOD shorts.

The latest issue of the Darth Vader comic was great for several reasons. One being it included Lee Char from TCW.

I've read the first four Vader comics (mainly for Dr. Aphra's story) and remember there was an android Mon Calamari trained to use a lightsaber. Does he have anything to do with Lee Char?

that was the 2015 series. This is in the ongoing 2017 series, which is a prequel.

the current arc is exploring Mon Cala 3 years after the ascension of the Emperor (so a lot closer to TCW). Vader is targeting an unknown Jedi master secretly advising Lee Char during the onset of the Dark Times. Raddus and Ackbar make appearances and there is a new inquisitor.

I don't recall Raddus being involved in the TCW arc on Mon Cala. I assume they must've just shoe-horned him in from his appearance in R1.

As for Raddus, of course he was not in TCW for kinda obvious reasons.:p

It's funny; Up until the last sequence of events in R1, I couldn't figure out why they had another Mon Cala General besides Ackbar commanding a fleet so close to the OT.

How about the infamous Quarren known as Tikkes?! He played a part in the untold Mon Cal arc.

Was he the one who initially conspired with the shark-faced guy (Hanson or something) in the TCW arc for a Separatist takeover?

Why? Its normal for armies to have many commanding officers, including high ranking ones. It would actually be very silly if the Rebel Alliance had only one General or only one Admiral. Its a galaxy spanning organisation after all.

Also the current arc of the new Darth Vader series is set one year after ROTS. The three year statements in the issue were retconned by the Story Group, because they didn't fit with the continuity of the Ahsoka novel.

There are also other continuity problems in the issue as well.

I mean they were basically the only pairing we knew about during TCW.
