It's the Droid Arc, guaranteed
Good thing I have my R2 mickey mouse hat. Its twice as appropriate now.
Knowing TCW character designers' propensity for updating unused SW film concepts, I wonder how long it will be before they bring these designs into TCW:
AOTC clone trooper helmet concept
AOTC clone trooper armour/uniform concepts
In the case of the second picture, the central figure with the T-shaped polarised visor might be one of the inspirations behind the Mandalorian police officer seen in TCW. The visor surround - seemingly separated from the helmet - and the armour plates resemble the Mandalorian police equivalents. The police as they turned out in the show seemed to be a bit "flimsy" compared to this design.
More armoured humanoids wouldn't be amiss.
What do you suppose the in-universe explanation is for the fact that the leader of the Mandalorian rebels sound like he grew up in Queens?
Um, I think its because the leader of the Mandalorian Rebels is meant to sound like the kind of guy who'd cause you to pee your pants if he spoke to you and showed you that scar on his face.
Those are some really cool designs. It would be cool to see them in the show. I like bug eyes. I really hope we see some more females in armor somehow.
Not fair. This applies to 99.9999% of all forum activity. Throw facebook and twitter in there too.
Just joking around.
If only "imagination" existed at the Disney colony of Lucasfilms.
How do you think Ahsoka came in to existence?
The obstreperous consent of the unwillful people of course.
That's a pretty fitting description for GL actually...
That's not fair. D'harhan was at least cool
TCW writers just aren't consistent, or competent
Will GL Executive Produce Season 6? I know they have all the stories for Season 6 but if they go on will GL keep working on the show? Seems like he enjoys working on it. I would like to find out.
Whatever happens i don't think they will get rid of Filoni.
How does one present an idea for such a character? "Hey, I have this great concept for a character. How about a dude with a cannon for a head? Yeah, frikking awesome, right? You can thank me later. Or now. Whichever."
D'harhan is awesome.
Yes he is but it just be hard to think logical when you have a cannon for a head.
He is an alien, he does not need his brain to be in his head.
He looks awesome but reminds me of old Power Ranger/Beetle Borgs villain of week
They have proven that. But the issue is that they usually change a lot per season. Good writers leave, bad stay.
But GL has proven that he can be just as competent or consistent as the worst of the writers. The guy is an idea man and a businessman, NOT a writer or good director.
His Brain is in a box in his chest
SW aliens rule!
