I thought wouldnt it be cool to ask if someone collects the videos! I mean technicly, the videos are the true collection.
Here are some things to think about if you want to collect them...

what covers and variations do u have?
    VHS and DVD?
do u have the spoofs and stuff like spaceballs, R2 beneath the dome, thumb wars?

and JSYK you can get the trilogy on DVD overseas!

    Cool idea. :) Here's what I've got...

-Attack of the Clones - DVD - Widescreen

-The Phantom Menace - DVD - Widescreen

-The Phantom Menace - VHS - Fullscreen

-Original Trilogy SE - VHS - Fullscreen

That's 9 different videos for 9 movies. ...Only a Star Wars fan, lol. (and I know most of you probably have more :p ) My ROTJ Fullscreen VHS is actually worn out from watching it so much. And I only got it 5 years ago! (I watch it a looooOOOOoot, lol )

Oh, and quick note, only mods are supposed to start official threads (either by starting the thread themselves, editing a thread title to make it official or by giving a user permission to start the thread ahead of time), so if you could please run any threads you are planning to title "official" by myself or MJF in the future it would be much appreciated. :)

You better watch out. Neck's a Moderator and I'm on the Advisory Council; do you want us to vote you off the internet?

umm, I HAD told a mod ahead of time :(
I asked MJF and I checked the official thread list and there was nothing there, so MJF let me make it. You know its not a big deal, but i am sorta shocked you jumped on my case without asking me first if i had permission :(

Dude, it's fine, did it appear like Neck was being mean? Is Neck ever mean? :p He was just doing his job, and doing it very nicely, that's all. :)

Anyways, it's not a big deal, especially considering what you did with Mara. :) Either way, let's not clutter up this thread more and get back to talking about what this thread is all about! :)

My ESB broke from watching it too much too.

It was my favorite episode of the whole saga.

And I gave ANH to a four year old, whose family I used to help out. Never gave it back.

    I have ROTJ though.

My VHS TPM broke as well. Never got to replacing it,cause I never did like it.

    And AOTC Widescreen DVD

Spaceballs on DVD is my sister's,but it got annoying cause she watched it every day,but it's still great.

I`ve been meaning to replace ANH,and ESB

    My collection's pretty light...

    VHS:
    TPM Collector's Edition Widescreen
    ANH SE Full Screen
    TESB SE Full Screen
    ROTJ SE Full Screen

    DVD:
    TPM Widescreen
    AOTC Widescreen
    Spaceballs

The OT VHS is the post-TPM trilogy box set. Those replaced some bootleg THX remaster copies I had, which had degraded so far that I got rid of them.

Master-Fett - I apologize if you thought I was begin hard on you, it wasn't my intent at all. From the first post of the thread I had no way of knowing MJF had approved this, so I wanted to make sure you and everyone else knew the rules for starting official threads so we wouldn't have people starting "official" threads left and right. I probably could have taken this to PM, but as I said, I did want to make sure everyone knew the rules with official threads. Perhaps in the future it would be best if people make note of the fact that a mod has approved their official threads so other users, MJF or myself don't get confused by a situation like this again in the future? Anyway, I'm sorry again if you thought I was begin hard on you, I hope there are no hard feelings :)

I used to have a lot of Star Wars stuff on Betamax... I had videorecorded EVERY interview on tv with Mark, Carrie, Harrison, and George Lucas over the years... the Donny and Marie Star Wars show... the Muppet show with Mark Hamill... everything! Then they had to switch to darn VHS! BETA was much better than VHS!
