You've never seen the Donny and Marie Star Wars show? [face_shocked] I am sure it is floating around the net somewhere. When I was in line for TPM and AOTC, people there in line had a tv and a VHS tape of it. In the 70s there was the Donny and Marie show and I think it was in 1977 or 78 that they dedicated an entire show to Star Wars. Marie was Princess Leia, Donny was Luke, I "think" Chris Christopherson was Han. R2D2 and C3PO, and Chewie played themselves... they had dancing stormtroopers (the top half was in armor and the bottom half was bare women's legs in high-heels and they danced around). I think Paul Lynde was Tarkin and Red Foxx was the Emperor. It was very funny... and of course very corny like all Donny and Marie shows were.

Warning to MJF and others!:
heres what you need to do, theres a new invention out it is a DVD player and VCR in one. it lets you transfer VHS to a DVD, this wont improve the tapes quality much, but it will make it last a whole lot longer. These things are pretty new so maybe u should wait a few years to buy one or just see if one of your neighbors has one but it is very important!

Wow.. THX_Jedi... I'm still not convinced you aren't Philip Wise. If I ever get as far East as Dallas, you are going to have to give me a tour of that collection of yours. I go to El Paso several times a year... it is on the way to my house in New Mexico... but that is the only part of Texas I've ever seen.

 

Admittance prices are: $9.50 for adults and 4.50 for children.

Other than Philip, there are 2 of us here who are 'monster' collectors. I even helped a friend of mine write a book on SW collecting. I've been trying to take a written inventory for the past few months in my spare time. It's going slow.
