    Elves are overrated ;)

Now dwarves, there's a race to be reckoned with [face_laugh]

well I respect dwarves too... I mean they're short and stout and can appreciate a good brew. I bet they could throw a raging par-tay

when it comes down to it though I have to go with the archers...my goal in life has been to acquire a longbow. Ever since seeing robin hood prince of thieves at a tender young age I've wanted to learn archery. let's just say I am partial to elves and in particular legolas cause he is the shizznasty

November, actually. The big four disc box set complete with Argonath shaped book-ends, a National Geographic special and 30 minutes of cut footage.

The only thing lower than a bagger at a grocery store is floor care. :p Grocery is where the true power lies(the power of the One Ring, quite litterally, my crew chief has two of them).

Today was an awseome day. Almost as good as yesterday when I went to see JW, the BSO, and Yo-Yo Ma...well, not quite. But I somehow convinced my parents to give me the money to get the FOTR DVD(yes, I'm gonna get the special edition too, but I'll give my geek uncle Pat the one I'm gonna get tomorrow then...wait, that made no sense...) and my grandmother gave my family our x-mas present early- an air conditoner! Yeeha! Tomorrow we shall install it and it shall be like heaven.

So is having parents who can be convinced easily enough to buy me things. This DVD is coming out of my "Back to school" money. My mother was gonna get me new sneakers but I don't have gym, but she was gonna get them for me anyway, so I said that instead of that, why doesn't she get me a DVD. She said no at first but then I told her it was LOTR and flashed my Ring and she said, "ohhh" as if she understood how important this DVD is.

I was at Barnes and Noble at 9 A.M. this morning and was the first one in, and the first one out!

With my copy of Fellowship, of course! ;)

    It ROCKS!

I tried reserving it at Suncoast yesterday (ok, a little late :p ), but they weren't taking any more reserves because they already had 300! I may just wait until November to buy the DVD, as I spent $40.00 on the Akira Special Edition DVD Set.

I got mine at 10 this morning and it rocks! I've already watched the movie and watched most of the special features. I wish the TTT game would come out for the PC. If its good, maybe I'll get a PS2 for x-mas.

Got mine at around noon. Idiot clerk at SamGoody took forever to find my slip...but at least he did find it.

I tried watching it on my laptop, but the stupid InterActual player kept letting the screensaver go on...so I went to my trusty old DVD player. :) I really need Surround Sound...

And the preview of Two Towers is amazing. :)

Lots of stuff on everyone except Treebeard, in fact. I guess they're still keeping him under wraps.
