No doubt it's right next to completion, if it's not done already. I am pumped. I just put 5.1 surround sound in my room and watched Fellowship and the new trailer!

I'm not gonna read TTT until I see the movie. I just like to be suprised at the movies. I did the same thing with FOTR. I saw the movie a couple times and then I read the book sometime around March. I have all 3 books but I will wait. I am trying to avoid spoilers so I should stay out of this thread. But I'm not really serious about avoiding them like I am with star wars. I am a hardcore spoiler free star wars fan and I lose sleep over things I see or read that I shouldn't (hasbro is on my hit-list). Can anyone tell me which LOTR installment they think is best. Will TTT have that middle film awsomeness like AOTC or ESB (even thought we know ep3 will be the best). I would assume the TROTK will be the most action packed of the trilogy. In case I haven't made it painfully obvious, AOTC and ESB are my favorite's of the SW saga........so far!!! I am beginning to like LOTR very much, but I still feel star wars is the ultimate of all sagas!!!!

He's a good character, but he adds nothing to the story. For a book, that's okay. For a movie, it really isn't.

 

Good point. I just wanted to see his hat. Man, was that a cool lookin' hat.

 

I concur. He's cool for a book, but for a movie it's too much. It would be nice, especially for all the die hards out there, but the movie had to be easy to follow for all the [people] who never read it

 

ouch...you cut me deep. I saw the movie first and was so impressed that I read the book and was even more impressed.

After thinking about it, I changed it. Most of you here who haven't read the book aren't the kind of people I was thinking about when I wrote that, so it's pretty pointless to leave it.

Heavy swearing is a no-no. It'll get you banned. The occasional "crap", "damn" or "hell" is allowed, but nothing much heavier than that. IE, don't drop any F-bombs(if you have to, use the FarScape equivalent, frell, it sounds better anyways).
