    This was brought up in a thread yesterday. ILM didn?t want to use new and original designs for Grievous? lightsabers. They used designs that were already being used by other Jedi throughout the films. The lightsaber designs that Grievous has in the film are those of Anakin?s, Obi-Wan?s, Agen Kolor?s, and Adi Gallia's. So, it?s not really Anakin's, but it's the same design.
