Is the ARC Trooper Captain the Red one?

Yeah, the red one is the captain.

I guess there are not that many statue/clone wars fans in here. Most seem to be into action figures and the master replicas.

For me these are a definite have.

I order my Yoda the other day. Since he is my favorite character, it wasnt much of a choice. I am pre-ordering the Asajj one as well and will definitely get the Obi-wan one as well.

Grievous is one that I hope they make.

Obi-Wan is the third one to be released in the series according to the Previews catalog. I'm heading over to my local comic store to place my order later today so I figured I pass the word out to you guys.

    Padme is most likely next.

There is a head shot of the Red Arc Trooper Captain in the ad that promotes the Obi-Wan release. He will probably will have a pose with his twin pistols drawn out.

I love these. I don't generally buy Maquettes and I managed to miss most of the Clone Wars cartoons (Boohoo!) but I think I have to have these.

I love the Yoda- he's just too cute for words and the Padme as snowbunny is priceless.

I also just love Asajj Ventress. I've always loved her since I saw the concept photos of her from the planning stages for AOTC - so she'll probably have to come home too. And I guess that I can't leave Obi out.

I wonder if they'll do a ripped shirt, face full of fury Ani [face_love] [face_love]

"I wonder if they'll do a ripped shirt, face full of fury Ani"

Somehow that seems very appropriate given the last few episodes of season 2.

Not to mention women loving something like that.

It's all about equality. If you guys get Padme in her skintight-I'm SO obviously NOT pregnant yet- snowbunny outfit- we deserve Ani w/ his rippling muscles exposed.

    :p

    Fair is fair, right? ;)

I am really looking forward to these and hope they sell well so a second wave can be released soon.

I say go ahead and list wherever it is you found that big a discount. We are all here to help each other afterall.

Personally, I order from my comic store because:

    1. I get 15% off and I do buy comics, trades, hardcovers and statues.

    2. I get good service and I have been going there for 9 years.

    3. They hold the statue or any big ticket items for me sometimes for many weeks. So basically I am guaranteed one but my credit card doesn't get hit right away. I get to pace myself and my purchases.

    4. I know that the item will arrive undamaged or it gets returned and replaced with no hassles.

So you gotta ask yourself if you are willing to give in a few percents in discounts over reliable service. Some people here swear by the official SW store and I guess that's their choice as experiences vary. Their track record is not necessarily spotless as they had to shut down their whole site before.

A little searching on the net could always save a little cash to those willing to do the research or those taking a chance on ebay. :)

cool -- yeah, i just thought i'd mention it since someone earlier was wanting to know a good place to buy statues.

i get my stuff at dcbservice.com and have enjoyed excellent service from the friendly people working there.

i just ordered the obi and yoda maquettes at 25% off, though i've bought other "statues" at as much as 35% off. i also used to get stuff at my local comic book store, but their discount was only 10% with a subscription service, so i now buy most of my stuff at dcbs.

just remember, the more $$$ you save, the more collecting you can do!

I was surprised when I did not see Padme being solicited in the December Previews catalog.

Anyone heard if it was just delayed until next month?

This picture I found of the ARC Captain has two blasters in his hands, just like in the show. (from shopstarwars.com, ships Nov 2004, $80 )

Yeah. He has an interchangeable hand which is a pretty cool feature.

Padme is supposed to be the 5th and last one in this wave but I did not see it solicited for December.
