Full Series OFFICIAL THREAD: CW 3D Animated Series *Pictures*

This looks so great. I love the painted style which really shows up on the Obi-Wan shot. Looking at the comments on the Empire site, it looks like I would be in the vast minority.

 

The only way to deal with sarcasm is to take the person completely seriously.

Apparently this drives people crazy, particularly on the internets.

 

That ... is a bad thing?

 

There are some on the official site but they are hyperspace only, they are offering the Obi-wan in Armor pic that Garth Maul posted plus the 4 inset pictures in that pic are also being offer as well as two more. There are at least two fan made ones on the German Site Starwarsunion.de

I also finally got some use out of my hyperspace account for the first time this year I have the Anakin one from Hyperspace as my backround on my PC with the second one by Frank hnatek, the one with Obi-wan,Anakin ans Ashoka as the backround on my laptop for work.

I agree it could use a bad guy, but I still love that Clone Wars poster. Really exciting

The pic with Obi-wan and Anakin appears to have a Banking Clan ship or structure in he background. Interesting.

 

I'm very surprised and impressed with the poster. Really has a Star Wars flair to it!

and these stills are getting me more hyped. I can't wait to see the Obi Wan vs Ventress duel. I wonder if this will be the duel where she fakes her death for the last time.

 

Yeah, didn't Anakin kill her in the end of the first Clone War cartoon? I remember they dueled, and I'm pretty sure it ended with Anakin standing in the rain after cutting her down or something. Whats up with that?

 

Asajj never faked her death. In the comics they just assume that because Anakin wounded her and it was such a high drop and she was tangled in electrifying wires, that she could not have survived the fall. but Kenobi was the only one who thought she was still alive. Even after Anakin assured him that she was dead but went into hiding. And the second time everyone thought she was dead.

And in the cartoons, no one knows if she survived, but she never came back.

ps. it had stoped raining long before Anakin killed her.

 

That new poster is the best Star Wars eye candy I've seen in a long time.

 

^^^ I'm with Gobi on this one. It's definitely Star Warsesque. I can't wait to see the poster up and around theaters.

 

Well I think those pictures back up my assumption that they will be on the planet Muunilist (sp?). I already ordered the poster and I think it looks beautiful. That shot of Obi-Wan and Rex is so very epic looking. I am so very stoked for this movie and series.

I am a bit surprised that we haven't had a tie-in video game announced. They obviously have the Force Unleashed coming out around the same time, so maybe it's possible that something will be announced at E3.

I don't believe I've heard it mentioned yet, but it does indeed look like Anakin's blue starfighter from the originals is the one seen on the left hand side of the poster. And it looks like the Y-Wing prototype is over on the right.
