Ah, Ariss, I just loved your Fallen Angel background. Aside from being beautifully executed I happened to have the same phrase in my Saruman avatar from Angels and Elves (a fantastic LotR webiste).

Anyway, lovely artwork. As an artist myself I'm jealous!

 

Carnotaur-your DVD looks great! But one thing...Yoda seems out of place and maybe you should put some clonetroopers instead

edit: HOLY CRAP! how could i miss the logo?!! i'll fix it.

 

Well, it'd be better if the logo didn't say "Attack of the Clones."

Also, try making the logo smaller if you can, you said you were going for a Struzan look, and in those posters, the logo is smaller. Just some small advice.

heheheh! how embarrasing. well i suppose that's what you get when you start to get lazy.

plus im a complete idiot; i deleted the psd so changing "attack of the clones" to "revenge of the sith" wasnt as simple as it should have been! (also thats why i couldnt take Pooja's advice)

I was just thinking(dangerous i know) but for the dvd cover, its been four characters, 1 ignited saber and some sort of action...but for Episodes 1 and II its been blue sabers[obiwan(I) and anakin(II)].

For the third it should probably be a diff color so that its not blu for all three.....like have maybe Mace(purple) or Yoda(gren) or Vader or Sidious(both red) have theirs ignited...what do you think??

I don't think Vader will be on the cover nor Mace. I also don't think they will show Sidious w/ a lightsaber but you never know. I don't think they care what color the lightsaber is on the old dvds when designing them. They just go with the best design. Anyway here's my dvd cover.

I used the purple/blue because it transitions from the Outer Blue/Purple of AOTC DVD to the Pink of the ANH DVD. I didn't put any villains on it either (well except Anakin) because so far the prequels dont use villians on the DVD covers.

I saw there are some nice ROTS DVD covers. Here's mine:

It's quite different from the original cover desings and it fits to my DVD cover series (EP1-EP6). This is just a temporary version.
(I posted it to "ROTS Wallpapers and Screen Savers" topic also, anyway.)

If i could and knew how, I'd make my own ROTS DVD cover, but for those tryin to make the best one, don't make the cover too "busy" with like every character in the movie on it. It's usually the 3 main characters, Obi-wan, Anakin, and Padme', plus someone else. For TPM it was Qui-Gon, and AOTC it was Yoda; for ROTS, I would say maybe Palpatine. For the background like illumination behind them whatever it is, I would make it...actually not sure about that part, since they've all ready used red and orange in the first covers. And on each cover usually theres some still from an action scene in the film at the bottom, i.e. Pod Race, Clone War; My guess for the bottom for ROTS would either be the space battle or The Duel.
