other than that...that is all I have... a couple second clip of obiwan fighting guys with sticks...

It is not much...but if u want to see it...I can host it...???should I???

BTW...does anyone know what those sticks become??? I know they are not lightsabers...so any clue to how to make them look how they are supposed to?

    thanks.

Uhhh, Prod. We've seen that pic before, as live vid. Do you have to buy 3DS, or is it a download? I know, I can search!

Green, you are going to make that shot awfully difficult by not leaving the pillars in. Well, make sure you color-correct and add a reflection...and good luck. :p

Do you have to buy 3DS, or is it a download?

If you are a student you can get an educational version for around $700, if not the corporate license is like $6000.

BTW...does anyone know what those sticks become??? I know they are not lightsabers...so any clue to how to make them look how they are supposed to?

The general's bodyguards have staffs with lightsaber resistent ends. So, they will probably glow or something in the film. Just use your imagination.

Actually, it's only about $4000. Maya is $6000.

Yeah, that looks good as a background.

The Grievous bodyguard staffs probably will look like metal sticks with maybe some glowing at the tips.

Nice pic, now work with the color balance a little to make the room more red and it will be fine.

As for making the tips glow...are you working with video here? If so you've got to export the clip as a filmstrip from Premiere, AE, or other more higher-end progs first. Then in PS, just work with layers and filters. Cut out the ends for every frame, make them there own layers, then use the blur filters, color balance etc. Alot of ways to do it, and since we don't know how it should look just be creative.

And create some interesting sound for when lightsaber meets electro-staff...I don't think it will sound like saber-on-saber.

You can see and hear one of the bodyguards using their weapon in the latest Republic Commando trailer.

He's on screen for several seconds.

Perhaps you could emulate the effects from that?

Not bad I guess, it will be hard to get it back to matching the original colors. I suggest making the scene dark or something so you can't tell.
