2.Anakin killing jar jar

3.10 extra minutes to the battle of kashkkk

 

Perhaps more of Palpatine seducing Anakin, so the turn isn't so sudden.

 

Yoda on Dagobah. Anything w/ Adm. Ackbar or Tarkin.

Why would Anakin kill Jar Jar? Sure, it would have been fun to see but it would not be logical. Anakin doesn't kill any other senators, and Jar Jar was always perfectly nice to him. It would have been better for him to just get trapped in a ray shielded portion of hallway in a never-traveled portion of the Tantive IV and slowly die of dehydration.

I never hated Jar Jar, but it would be fun based on all the fan drama Jar Jar created.

More of the Battle of Kashyyyk, enough so we know the context of the battle we see. Was that the inital invasion? Was it a counter-offensive? Why did the Seps attack Kashyyyk? I didn't see any Trandoshans there.

One scene I would change. We didn't see Chewie help at all. Have him kill the clones that attack Yoda. Or at least another scene of him and Tarful kicking ass.

1) I think the fight scene between Palpatine and the Jedi that went to arrest him needed to be a little more dramatic/longer. I understand wanting to showcase the Emperor's prowess, but I think it was grossly exaggerated. Besides, it would have made Palpatine look much more formidable if he was shown actually fighting 4 Jedi simultaneously, not to mention giving the lesser Jedi some more screen time even if for a few moments. It is obvious that Lucas never considered the lesser known Jedi anything more than insignificant background extras.

2)I agree that Anakin's turn to the dark side needed to be focused on and emphasised a little more. It seems more like a sudden fall into madness and less like a tragic series of circumstances. Are we supposed to see Vader as a tragic figure? He comes off as a heartless psychopath with no admirable qualities whatsoever.

I assume a lot of scenes were left on the cutting room floor. Does anyone know what we can expect from the dvd?

I would probably add a bit more to Tatooine. To have Owen, Beru and Obi-Wan having a conversation--or maybe just more images of the planet at sunset.

I thought it would have been nice to see a bit older version of Boba Fett (with Jango's armor, just a bit worn down) fight mace windu in this kick ass scene. And that's how windu is killed.

3. A little bit more of suited Vader, maybe with Tarking or something like that


And in order to put these scenes, I wouldn't mind if the scenes in Kashyyk were removed. They were totally unnecessary, and Chewie's presence doesn't fit with anything, Lucas threw him in like an ornamental thing.

 

1. Include scenes of Mon Monthma and Padme creating the rebellion
2. Re-include the cut Anakin/Obi-Wan duel scenes
3. Re-include the cut Sidious/Mace duel scenes
4. Cut the entire useless Wookie battle

I'd actually just edit the ending of the Mustafar duel and not have Anakin lose so abruptly.

 

I would have loved to have more scenes on Alderan. Ever since I saw it blown up in episode IV I have wondered about the planet. I would to have loved to have seen it more essential to the plot. The baby Princess Leia scene was just to brief of a scene. To know more about the planet that was destroyed would make the whole death star scene more powerful.

 

I'd say more with Leia and having a moment with Padme to satisfy some people.
