maybe we need a Star Wars , episode III.V The Dark Times to tie up some loose ends...I suppose, unfortunatly, the EU will have to suffice...

 

why? isn't order 66 the jedi purge?

 

yea it is the first part Part II is in the comics.

 

I'm looking foward to the death of Ki-Adi-Mundi. That conehead was given too much screen time in the PT that could have been shared with other lesser portrayed Jedi.

 

What happened to Luminara Unduli, Shaak Ti, Depa Billba and Barriss Offee. Also I find it hard to believe how *all* the Jedi were whiped out apart from Obi and Yoda.

 

I'm pretty sure all of them are dead the scene of Shaak Ti getting killed by Anakin was cut from the movie, Luminara died in either the Episode 3 graphic novel or novel, Depe Billiba went into deep acoma in a EU Book, and wasn't Barriss Offee the one on the speeder bike if not I think she was killed in a cut scene or the Episode 3 graphic novel or novel. This is just what I have heard many times so I'm not entirely sure but I think I'm right. Also I think there are other Jedi besides Obi-Wan and Yoda survived here are three movie Jedi Bultar Swan, Even Piell, and Pablo-Jill. It is unknown if theses three are dead or alive.

 

Yeah, those are the "big" three right now as far as surviving jedi
and as far as the female jedi, all are Presumed dead, no deaths
shown, but 99% they didn't make it. I hope the deleted scenes show more main jedi deaths so we can have some closure.

 

I don't know about pablo-Jill but I know Even Piell is dead he was listed missing after his gunship went down on some planet Ceria I think. Bultar swan is killed by Commander appo's men during the attack on the jedi temple

 

It is unknown if Even Piell, Coleman Kcaj, and Bultar Swan survived or were killed. If you are wondering who Coleman Kcaj is he was the Ongree Jedi Council Member in ROTS. I heard from some others that on a ROTS Set Diary from starwars.com that someone said that Coleman Kcaj was made especially for the ROTS Jedi Council Scene. If the Ongree Jedi Council Member in ROTS was not Coleman Kcaj then it was probably Pablo-Jill. Even Piell, Bultar Swan, and Coleman Kcaj could star or maybe appear in the upcoming Star Wars Live Action TV Series set in between ROTS and ANH starring minor characters but I doubt it. If there is going to be Jedi in the upcoming Star Wars Live Action TV Series then they may just create completely new Jedi. I think Jedi will probably at least star in some episodes a Season in the upcoming Star Wars Live Action TV Series. It's not a sure thing that Jedi are even going to be in the upcoming Star Wars Live Action TV Series but I think they probably are going to be in the upcoming Star Wars Live Action TV Series.

 

Sorry for the dig but I wanted to get more feedback on a thread I tried to post which should belong here. Here are my thoughts/questions:
"Does anyone else wish that the movie would have spent some more time with the Jedi and clones in battle on the various planets with the droids in order to get more attached to them making their deaths have more weight?

Order 66 was done very well but the planets they were on looked amazing and it would have been nice to see more of them and the battles as well as get a bit more attached to the Jedi leading them.

With the 3+ hour movies that come out so often do you think this would have been ok, made the movie better or turned people away?"

That might be ok for the fans that are into the books and all the extras but for the general fans and such it would have been nice for the Jedi you mentioned to have more than a couple lines to establish their characters on screen.

 

I understand where you're coming from, Headphonekenobi. I just gave you my personal opinion.

 

I guess I'm a little weak when compared to the fans around here. I love the all the movies and grew up on them and they have always been my favorites but I have never read any of the books or delve into what was beyond the films so my observation my be a bit more of a generic one here.

just thought I would help out a bit.

Order 66 was just to get rid of the top Generals if you notice in the film(AotC included)it is all Jedi that were on the council. The purge is to eliminate all the Jedi that escaped or the Jedi that really have no importance, except for the fact that they can kill Vader(Anakin) and Palpatine.

 

adi gallia was killed by GG, its on her databank entry under Expanded Universe.

Who are the other 3? The green alien Jedi that sits next to Anakin intrigues me. I haven't heard his name.

 

There are only 12 Jedi on the Council, and you've listed 10 of them. The other two Council members at this time are Stass Allie, who was never on Coruscant during ROTS, and Coleman Kcaj, who looks just like Pablo-Jill. The only Council member that is green is Kit Fisto, but I believe Coleman Kcaj and Agen Kolar where the Jedi that sat next to Anakin.

i completly agree- it wouldve been cool if in the begginng of ep 3, we see an explosion in the skies of coruscant and then there is a shot of ki adi mundi leading the troops in a city on mygetto, a shot of aayla secura preparing for battle on felucia.....plo koon maybe on one of the bridges on cato neimodia...and stass allie in a battle on saleucami..then back to space battle

 

What of the Jedi that turned dark?

I believe a few became operatives of Dooku, while some quit the Jedi and went off into the sunset.

I believe Ventress is still around somewhere as well.

Also, should Dooku be considered as part of the Jedi purge?

 

Dark Jedi is an oxymoron. There are no Dark Jedi and only 2 Sith at a time. All the rest fought and eventually died under the purge.

And I would definitely include Dooku as a victim of the purge just as much as I'd say Qui-gon Jinn was one of the first.
