*OFFICIAL THREAD* Planets of Episode III

There is still a crystal aspect to the planet, but not as prominent as first thought. Battles has left much of the planet covered in ashes, while there are still a few gleaming crystals.

 

Is Tellanroeg still in it?

So how do you guys pronounce Utapau. I say it like oo-tap-ow.

Anyone make any mention of Kashyyyk?! Hey if Kashyyyk was the only planet in episode three, and the whole movie "sucked" becuase of it, I would watch it. Kashyyyk is the like the coolest planet ever and we all know it's going to be in episode three so don't get all sad about Corellia not being in episode three becuase Kashyyyk is in it, arguably the coolest planet ever found in the EU. Also, in respnose to what many peole have been worrying about, well, yes Alderran will be in number 3!, yeah George!

Put Naboo instead of Dagobah, add Cato Neimoidia and Saleucami and you have it.

 

I think that Kashyyyk and one or two of the other planets will probably be added to the end of Return of the jedi victory celebration.

No Dagobah? Why not? It is in the comic book and the scrapbook. Will it at least be in the DVD cut scenes? Cato Neimoidia and Salucami? Are you for real? Thats so awesome, what is going to happen on these planets? I sure hope that the planets wont' be added to the end of ROTJ

 

Allegedly it was cut to eliminate the multiple ending feel that RotS had in one of its cuts. However, this rumor is unsubstantiated at best. Motee/Ternian dropped it a long time ago and his word is given the veracity of a god's (and he has been right quite often) but it's never been confirmed from an official source that Dagobah is out of the final cut of the film.

It probably is out...but whatever.

 

Well, I think it was also mentioned in Making of ROTS book that Dagobah was among the cut scenes. It's still doesn't give 100% confirmation, but makes it still more likely.

Saleucami and Cato Neimoidia are part of Clone-War-end/Jedi-Purge-start montage (it's where Stas Allie and Plo Koon die).

Interesting to hear about Cato Neimoidia, Although I suppose it serves ROTS no purpose in light of Labyrinth of Evil's opening chapters. By the way, where'd you hear/read about this?

So whatever happened to that bridge planet? Cato Nemodia was it? And it's been replaced by this...


The arid world of Saleucami, marked by scattered oases of verdant growth, has just fallen to the Republic. Jedi General Stass Allie still patrols the wilderness, looking for pockets of Separatists forces that may be in hiding. In Episode III, we'll see her leading a team of clone troopers on BARC speeder bikes.

So we get *another* jungle planet by way of Tatooine?

A neon crystal planet or ringworld or SOMETHING would be better than this rehash.

Isn't Utapau pretty arid with occasional forests surounding sinkholes?

How about something truly otherworldly other than Salecumi?

Cato Neimoidia has NOT been cut. Its been confirmed by multiple official sources.

Does anyone know if the Windmills of Utapau will be in the movie at all?

 

Apparently Ki Adi Mundi is seen on a ash planet in Revenge of the Sith. This was seen in the footage seen at C3.

 

So, is Cato the bridge world? Is it in?

Mygeeto is the crystal world isn't it?

Cato's designs were pretty fantastical. I hope they make it in there somewhere. Sounds pretty vivid.
