I am happy that it will be [PG-13] for sure!
Although Yahoo hasn't gotten around to confirming this(nor IMDb although their usually inaccurate and late on that info) I always thought this would get the [PG-13] rating. But I know even more will see it now. It's not the rating that's gonna limit the people, but te uncut(and necessary) pieces to make it a great film and bring in more people than TPM. Of course we all know this though ...

The rating is not for what you think. Anakin's dream sequence features Padme, not pregnant in a very revealing outfit, wearing a see thru fabric drapped vertically across her boobs. That's all. She's slowing dancing, arabian style. Just listen to "Padme's Ruminations" and picture that. The dream gets interrupted when he sees her perish and he wakes up sweating. If you've read this far you're probably a straight male and have just discovered this is actually not true. Awww! I know

I think it should have a PG rating. There's death and war in all of the StarWars movies. Why should this one be any different. Yes, the heat is turned up a little, but it shouldn't be PG-13 because of it. Make it PG/

I can't believe it, 3PO making a positive comment! I'm so glad (of course, I'm even more glad that ROTS will be PG-13 in the States).

 

Sorry to spoil the party, but the only time we will get confirmation is when the film gets officially rated or we here an official statement from LFL. . This isn't confirmation at all. Still, we all know it WILL be PG-13.

 

This is great news for all the Americans and for star wars in general!

But

what does this mean for the UK what rating will it get here as i think it may get a 12a if anything is edited out and if not , a 15 but he will lose an audience so what ya guys think?
