There were little kids at Sin City!? MY God!

Anyway, being only 16, I was pretty much one of those annoying, weird 9 year olds that was in someone's TPM showing, though I've always been laid back and never caused any problems. But that's not the point. In the last 3 years, since turning 13, I've definetely notcied how kids go to movies, and just because this is PG-13 won't stop them. I'm glad to see this rating, and happy GL is going all out, but even if it had gotten R, plenty of parents would have turned out to see it with their little ones in tow.

w/ the newspaper releasing this kind of news over the weekend I'm sure we'll get confirmation from either the MPAA or the Official Site

and can't they get in trouble for printing false info?

Ever heard of a magazine called People? US weekly? Trust me they can say whatever they want to. Do you ever see SS get in trouble?

yeah. but i'm talking about newspapers(i.e. Chicago Tribune, New York Times, etc.) there was a movie called Shattered Glass(had Hayden in it) and it was about a reporter who fabricated a bunch of stories in this major paper and it mentioned how they have to have the sources checked and everything.

The (unofficial) PG-13 will not have an affect on the box office sales.

Remember Spider-Man 1&2? Those were HUGE flicks for the kiddies. They were rated PG-13 and they were HUGE at the box office.

PG-13 would rock sales! The iffy people would say, "Hm, maybe it's not a Jar Jar movie after all" and go see it.

It's only a higher rating because Jar Jar is disembowelled... ;)

well he is dead by ANH. I heard he stays to live on Alderaan during ROTS-ANH. So he goes bye-bye when the death star blows up ALderaan.

No, Jar Jar is on Naboo during Padme's funeral, I think. Why would he be at Alderaan?

Still nothing on the MPAA, filmratings, or OS websites on the rating. We may have been Punk'd.

It'll be PG-13. But what's the big ****ing deal what it's rated? How can it be any better if it was rated PG-13? So friggen deal what if the Matrix and the LOTR movies were rated PG-13?! Revenge of the Sith could still be a crummy movie even if it is rated PG-13.

Fanboys here somehow think the movie's rating will make or break it. Or that a PG-13 rating will "redeem" Star Wars.

    Gimme a break.

Star Wars was always above mindless violence.

Now Lucas wants to dumb it down to the Xbox generation with crap like Sin City and Doom 3, etc etc. etc.

    Pretty depressing.

Even if it get's the much, um, "beloved" PG-13 rating, it could still be a crappy movie.

I just saw the May issue of Playboy, on newsstands either yesterday or today, and there it states PG-13.

Page 27, if I remember correctly.

PG-13 I guess it is. I'll believe Playboy.

Reminds me of the "Mr. X" Simpson's episode.

    "Nelson is pure gold."
