Official Trading Thread (and No Selling policy)

I have been noticing a lot more trading and selling threads so I guess it's time to adopt an official policy.

TRADING: Trading cards for cards is fine. I don't know if TFN will be able to set up a seperate baord for us or not. So until then, please try and keep trading to this thread. Post a short list of what you are looking for and a way to be contacted privately. I am also considering opening a classifieds section for those of you that trade online more than others.

SELLING: This one's a bit more sensitive. Since LFL does keep an eye on this site, we cannot give them any reason to think that the site may be making money or being used as a launch pad for such. Therefore, if you wish to sell cards you will have to go to an auction site OR to Decipher's Trading boards which do allowing selling.

Thanks for your understanding with this. Aaron and I are happy that the boards are getting a lot of traffic and everyone is doing a good job building a community here. Keep up the good work!

I was wondering why the collecting board was not able to be used to sell stuff while the CCG/TCG board had a couple of unlocked threads that were selling cards.

I'm all for this policy. This is a discussion board and ain't no swap meet.

 

I'm looking for a few Jedi Knight Gold foils to complete a Scum and Villainy Bounty Hunter subset. If anyone happens to have these available, I've got SWCCG, Jedi Knights including a Tarkin Tourney foil, and Lord of the Rings to offer in trade.

Two minutes later I saw that I couldn't put the auction post anywhere, because it was against the rules, and removed the auction post.

Hello, and welcome to my amazing SWTCG Have/Want list. Here you´ll hopefully find lots of cards you want (in my have list) and lots of cards you need (in the other one).

I´m a Norwegian, and I oddly enough I live in Norway. For those Americans/Canadians who are thinking about leaving now, I can assure you that I can and will trade cross-Atlantic. If you´re unsure if you can trust me (I am indeed intimidating), and I´m sure you can be trusted, I´ll probably suggest that I send the cards first.


All my cards are in Mint/Non-Mint (or is it "Near Mint"?) condition. Some have been played, but always with protective sleeves. If you need more information about a specific card, mail me and I´ll tell you.

Ahh... OK. Well it looked like you were saying "Right" (as in "Yeah Right") to RB's post to trade some CCG cards for LotR and I could just see it turning into another argument and people getting all upset, taking the thread OT (Like we're doing now )

Plus I was bit cranky just hearing about MJK and all.
