Guys, I think the spoiled have underestimated this trailer.

I've been reading over at the NSA, and those guys don't have a clue what is going on. This trailer has given them hints of things that are, yet leaves them wondering what is actually going on. The montage of images have them confused as to who is fighting whom, and I think that's a clever marketing move. The way it is presented, leading in to the final battle, they're not sure if the Clones are on the side of the Jedi, the Republic, the Trade Federation, or who. If Dooku's motives are not clear to them by the presentation of the trailer, then they certainly won't be clear to the general audience until they've seen the film.

In short, I think this trailer has done a terrific job of giving the unspoiled people enough of a taste of the plot and action to leave them surprised at to what is really happening in May.

 

I agree, I showed the trailer to my English class, and most of them were like,"Am i supposed to know what's going on." It's great marketing.

 

"My only problem is that I dont like the deliverance of Obi Wan's lines. They sounded too cheesy by far for me."

Come on, people. Cheesy lines are a part of Star Wars. It's part of the fun of it. I honestly don't know what some of you want.

Great trailor. Can't wait to see it at Ice Age. Really can't wait for May 16. Will be awesome.

Man, what is up with all the negativity. Just enjoy what you got. This movie looks better than that Sunday afternoon WB movie called LOTR. Give it a rest that the CGI looks fake, guess what, IT IS A MOVIE, MOVIES ARE FAKE.

 

Ok! Here's my situation: My morpheus is busted, Kazaa won't work, I don't want to pay money to get QT pro...So how do I get to see the trailer in large format? (larger than that little 1x3 inches wide screen at the OS? Please help me I'm desperate!

Like, I didn't knew the final battle was THAT CHAOTIC!!!

THE WHOLE ENDING was Breathtaking!!!

I also didn't knew the Anakin-Dooku Duel would be THIS COOL

This trailer has exceeded my expecations, CGI RULED!!!

Looks like the movie will be so Action packed, Drama filled. And, tons of suspense, cool stunts!!!




Let's hope the Running time respects it!!!

TigerClaw, whenever pics are posted in a thread, they're stretched to fit a set size. You'll notice that pics are the same size everywhere around here.

Clicking on them gets them to their original size.

Man, it definately looks like a blue-lightsaber being ignited. It emits up, instead of across like the laser fire.

The question is, who is using it?!?

Wow, over 1700 in just a day. Amazing.....

 

I liked the trailer but I have a few problems. It looks like it is gone beyond the cg realm to a place of utter un-believability. Look at the scene of Padme running on the conveyor or Mace swinging his sabre. It does look like a bad cg job. You can tell the difference very easily between the real person and the fake details around them. My only hopes is that the will finish it up nicly like they did in TPM. If not, I will be unimpressed.

 

I agree, but just slightly. The only thing that looked REALLY fakey and bad in TPM was the Gungan fight with the Trade Federation.

 

I just hope they are not done it yet. The folks there are very good at there job so it must be just a unfinished piece. Other then that I am happy. But not as much as LOTR. THat was a good trailer.
