Alright, I have a question. I'm going to be working for 7 hours before this party and going straight to it from work. I'll bring a bottle of coke as my drink contribution, but I need a suggestion on what to bring to eat that can sit in the cold in my car for 7 hours.

 

Cold? A Salad may survive.. mind you I don't eat salad so I won't claim to be an expert.

As a suggestion for hot food, I may suggest grabbing a pizza on the way there? You can order it about 20 minutes before you leave and it will be ready to pick up.

Of course that means having money.

 

Frozen Pizza?

 

Frozen Pizza would not be a bad idea. Delissio is only 7 bucks approx and it is better than delivery. Much better to avoid having to have everyone spend what little money they have left during the holidays.

 

Anything that would survive in your fridge, or perhaps better yet your freezer, should be just fine in your car for several hours... same temperature anyway.

If I bring a frozen pizza will someone cook it who isn't me? Unless you like your pizza cajun style of course ;p

Ok Mori fett is giving me a ride, i have Ewok droppings (cookies) and now i just need to get those two presents for under 5, hmmmmmm

 

It's 3 presents that you must bring for the gift exchange game.

And, could everyone start posting what you are bringing to the party as in food and drinks so we can get as much variety as possible. I am getting many requests as to what to bring and would like to start making a list.

I will be making a nacho dip and punch.

I'm flexable... I can bring hot, cold, or dessert. Which ever is needed.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BRING (What to bring):

• 3 wrapped gifts for a gift exchange (up to $5 value) the gifts are not to be for a specific gender or age.
• Drink for yourself and another (non- alcoholic)
• Food - Warm or Cold: the party will be a potluck affair; anything you bring will be part of a big meal for everyone to enjoy
• Games: Card or board

PLUS...

Please tell specifically what you are bringing regarding food and drink!!! That way others will not bring the same.

 

I'll be sure to post what I'm bringing as soon as I figure out what that is. Well, the main dish anyway... I've got a secondary thing picked out (if I can get it made in time -- but it's a surprise)
