Oh no I have no idea where to start!...

Alright, so after watching all the episodes and the clone wars series, I really want to look further into the EU books and comics and all that. But there's kinda one problem.
See I walk into a bookstore, thought i'd look through the starwars comicbooks section and see what's there, and there's AT LEAST seven different types of series'. And I mean.. Don't get me started on the novels.
So i'm wondering... Where should I start? I mean what would be good to read first (Whethever book or comic), because I feel like I should read in some order or some sort.(Aside from dawn of the jedi, i got that one).
Anyone got any ideas? That'd be totally awesome

 

I suggest you read the Thrawn Trilogy by Zahn, Dark Empire by Veitch and Tales of the Jedi by Anderson and Veitch.
The first one is a trilogy of novels. The last ones are comics.
