FF:WA Oi! Let's get some excitement happening!!!

Someone bring back SoulKrusher and Shadow_Of_Evil. Anyone who causes a conflict so at least there is something entertaining to read on these boards for once. Or should I say these boreds?

These boards used to be fun to come to and there was always an entertainig read in one of the threads. But now there is nothing much happening at all. I tried with the sock wars, but that died in the arse.

So, here's a brainstorming thread for you. What can we do to make things more entertaining here. Think about it.

 

SoE, yeah, he has a sense of humour, doesn't take much personally, often actually has something intelligent with some insight to say, and can actually make the film work he does exceed the capacity for shooting his mouth off.

But please, none of this ever applied to SK.

 

I think more face to face meets are the key to more life on the forums. I can't really contribute muhc in that area now I've moved but I think more social meets can certainly help.
I guess we used to spend a lot of time in threads where we just yakked about nothing important. Need more of that.

Anyway, I tend to agree with soneil on this one. general meets are always the way to go. In the meantime, let's just post endless waves of posts that make no sense. At least then we have something to talk about

Come on people, after this thread was created we had maybe a month of serious activity here and now it has died down again to almost nothing.

This should be the golden age of the boards with Ep3 just around the corner, at the moment it seems like the W.A. boards are in the last stage of a painful death.

I challenge you all to contribute a little where you can. I know you are all busy people, but the less activity we have here the less people are likely to post here in the future.

Dig deep for the team !

Well we've had some good participation on the quiz thread and a few others are still going. I still think the best way to liven things up is with some IRL meets. With my location I really can't help out there but I think you guys need to get together in person. Even if it's just getting together at a cafe or hanging out at someone's place for an afternoon. We used to have plenty to talk about on here because we used to get together in person a lot back on the OR days.

 

Thats a good suggestion. If I was not so far away I would be all for it.

I will be in Perth for the first half of October, I'd be keen for a meet on the first weekend in Oct maybe ?

I might start another thread and we can see what we can come up with perhaps.

 

Maybe you & I should have a Dune Sea meet. If we met halfway between Kalgoorlie and Wiluna it would probably be in the middle of the desert somewhere.
Seriously though, a meet during the next school holidays might be a goer, though I'm only planning on Being in Perth for a small part of the break.
