Abq OK, here's the surgery explantion...

I guess I should explain here so I don't have to answer a million pms. I have a pilonidal cyst. I've had it for 2-3 years. It's gotten to the point where I can't sit, stand, lay down, kneel, bend over, you name it. I've gotten to the point where pain killers do not work and my doctor advised me to get the surgery because of my line of work. It's an easy surgery, just a lot of recovery time because of the location of the cyst. So I'll be ok, I'll just have a pain in the arse instead of being one!

Hey Scott - did you every schedule your surgery? I know you went in for that consultation....

 

They can enlarge my ears by shortening my...feet. I can't spare any in that area, so I'm getting a second opinion. Do you know a good Ear Nose & Foot doctor?

 

oh dude, that's not good. Hmmmmm...yes, definitely get a second opinion. But i'm sorry i know of no one myself to recommend..

Good luck Aaron. I had a cyst on my ovary that was 13cm that i had to have removed over the summer(before i came down to visit) because it was causing me pain too . It was scary but it went well. thankfully they were able to go in laproscopically so i have very tiny scars. the worst part of the recovery for me was that they had to fill me up with gas so i had massive pain through my shoulder and back. I'm a big whimp when it comes to pain though, so i'm sure you'll be fine.
