Ok, I need to fix my LS deck again...

Ok peoples. I have *most* of the right cards for my EBO/A new secret base deck.

What now?

 

Decide on your strategy, multiple systems and planets or a select few planets and quality ships at each one, how to defend hoth when those darn imps come down and attack. How to escape the big blue when it come to town

 

I'd say a few planets with some of the better X-Wings and freighters.

I suppose the classic Rogue/snowspeeder combo shall sufise for defense.

And what the hell is a big blue??

And keep in mind for you EBO people out there that walker decks on HothWILL be making a comeback. I'm not saying they will be all over the place, but there will be a lot of them to contend with..

 

But I got those nutty Rogues! I can throw Tycho and Dash in there now too.

What interupts and effects are commonly used in EBO these days?

 

Ice Storm, Rebel Barrier, All Wings Report In and Rebel Fleet (if using swarms), S-Foils...all I can think of at the moment.

 

If your are using basic xwings, whack in Incom Corporation, for one card you get ability 2 pilots and power 4 xwings, unbeatable value for one card. If you must you can use the ralltiir freighter captain/ YT1300 freighter combo, 10 force back for a succesful Kessel Run. Tricky to pull off ( and never do this against a DS asteroids deck, you will get murdered )

And why do you need the Rogue snowspeeders?

 

Because they're cooler than regular ones. It's probably a bad idea, but I have this strange need to include as much stuff from the movies as possible. And I like Rogue Squadron.

 

One day i'll get the red squadron deck going, if ever I get all the cards i need from spec ed

 

I hear ya 100% JB. I make movie decks too and although I don't win as much as I'd like I find I have a lot more fun than with just a standard mains and toys beatdown deck
