I know that has always been my agenda. However I do remember picking up the odd figure to save on card thinking, this might be worth something someday. Long time ago now though.

 

I sold all my star wars figures, vehicles and beast wars toys to Blake.. As well as all of my new Dr Who videos..

 

I only collect the bigger toys so I can put them on display in my house.

collecting Star Wars figures is a mug's game after all they're pretyy shnit quality.

If only McFarlane had got the contract for Ep1

 

I refuse to believe by "quality" you are talking construction, when comparing anything to McFarlane. All his stuff is so delicate it should come bubble wrapped! At least then you'd have some playability as well.

I agree with Otter. At least Star Wars toys are durable. I've owned so many McFarlane toys that have broken just from being out of the package and seen heaps in the stores that are broken IN the package.

 

Star Wars toys are made to play with, I'll give you that but I don't play with my toys anymore. It's all about the detail for me now.
