Vancouver Okanagan FanFilm looking for help

Anyone in the Okanagan, namely the kelowna and westbank area, interested in making a Fanfilm? We are currently working on a screenplay and are looking for actors and people experienced with computer effects.

 

I'm not sure if any Okanagians frequent the Vancouver board, but you never know. Your best bet is probably the BC forum, but I see you've already posted there. Another thing you might try is going through the "Where are you from" thread in the BC forum and picking out the Okanaganites from there and sending out private messages to see if they're interested. The BC forum isn't super active so people may not check there very often.

Sorry, I can't really think of any other suggestions, I've never been involved in a project like that. You may get some responses in time, as I said, the boards in our region have very sporadic activity. Good luck with your project.

 

This movie will be one of hopefully many that we plan to make. We have re-written classic shakespeare as fictional stories based loosely on the Star Wars Universe. The first film, which we are in the late stages of pre-production, will be the tale of Macbeth. For those of you that may be unfamiliar with the story, it is about a warrior that upon being visited by a prophecy, slowly becomes consumed by the need for power and the lengths to which he must achieve his goals eventually destroy him. Our screenplay is complete and we are now looking for the volunteers to bring this film to completion. Actors at this stage is a must as we are short a few lead roles as well as extra's and experienced cg technicians.

This is an ambitious project, but I am confident that it is attainable in the very near future. If you think you might be able to assist this film, or if you have any thoughts, I would love to hear from you.
