okay everyone that can sing list the part you sing. In school i am a soprano 2 church an alto but i can singer higher than like my entire choir so...i can do whatever but i am basically a soprano either part works.

 

I can sing melodiously.

Well, I can carry a tune.

 

That puts you one up on me, Sal. I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I had the only non-singing part in a musical (General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls. I was asked to just mouth the words to Sit Down Your Rocking the Boat)

 

I'm a soprano one, although I have a very wide range, and can carry some alto parts quite nicely. ^_^

 

I sang soprano two in summer choir, but I might be better off singing soprano one. I dunno, I can do either, but I don't think my range is the greatest. Oh well, I sing well enough to have gotten into concert choir, so I can definitely carry a tune.

 

All right.. we've got people down for singing parts.. now let's think of the parts we need to fill in w/SW characters. AKA the castPlease note, this is just my opinions. & I don't know all the char. by heart. These are just the few I know.

The principal is Ms McGee, and I don't remember if Blanche was VP or her assistant or what, but I think it would be really funny to see vader play that part! As far as the rest go I'd rather see Luke as Kenicke, that way he'd have a bigger part, plus if Mara Jade is Rizzo then wouldn't that make her his gf? I think Boba Fett should play the rival guy (I can never remember his name!) because that would make him Han's enemy, and that is what he is, so, yeah. Lando should be a T-Bird too, and ummmmm.....I dunno who, but we need someone to play Frenchie....I dunno, I really wish there were more girls in SW, it would make things so much easier!!

 

Hmmm, if Eugene is Ric Olie I wonder who will be playing that part? Thinking... Thinking...

I'm not sure who you meant by nerdy girl. None of the Pink Ladies were suppose to be nerdy. They were suppose to be one of the coolest girls in school.
Amidala - Rizzo's closest friend = I can't remember her name right now. She was the girl with all the service men for "pen pals"
I agree Boba should be the rival - jerky guy

 

Cool. I never thought of Lando.. (smacks forehead.. I'm an idiot) But I do agree, Boba Fett would be awesome as the rival. And we have our own boba fett for that. ^_~

Oh yeah, Blanche was the secretary! She was still kinda Ms. McGee sidekick though, so it works.

Chewie should be in there somewhere, I dunno where, but he should be in there. He could be Frenchie! Then he'd have pink hair! No, actually that might just be disturbing, I dunno...How 'bout Good ol' Ben Kenobi for the coach? That could work, I think.

Rizzo's closest friend was Marty. I think Amidala would be a good idea for that part. And I'm starting on a "Amidala-like" gown.

Maybe Chewie could be the coach? Or maybe Vince Fontaine - the host of the Televised dance-a-thon - the guy that kept hitting on Marty?

I like old Ben for the coach. Why not just make YOda the Auto Body shop teacher? Chewie could be one of the Thunderbirds. Making a Chewie costume could be a bit expensive though, fur material is pricey.
